Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bottom of the line motel. The hallways smell like Marijuana. The carpets haven't been shampooed in years. My room had non working a/c and because I was here at my company's request then had to wait in lobby all day, the woman working the front desk was outside smoking when I asked her if I could leave my suitcase behind the counter while I walked over to Wendy's to grab a bite. She swore to me that I could leave it with her and she would put it somewhere safe til I returned. When I got back my suitcase was still outside and she was nowhere to be found. I walked inside and she's behind the counter and I couldn't believe it. This same woman I caught sleeping at her desk earlier in the day. Staff here are pathetic.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. 2nd time here. Was hoping the 1st was a fluke based on good reviews. Close to USF which is the reason for the stay to drop off my son for his freshman year, go Bulls. There will be a POSSE OF LURKING LOITERERS outside all the time. They make it uncomfortable and its literally intimidating and feels unsafe walking past to get into the hotel. There will absolutely be mold in your bathroom and shower. Our ac unit literally leaked its condensation on the room carpet,so it was soaked always. We had the ac set at 60, but it never got below 74,,Fact,, in Central South very hottt Florida. This made it difficult to sleep. Oh, and instead of pillows you got half pillows! What the hell are the half pillows about? Oh and skip the fake breakfast. Just trust me. I don't write reviews unless it's an extremely amazing or terrible experience so I'm not that guy. This place is epic terrible. Judge for yourself but I do NOT RECOMMEND

We arrived after a long trip so we didn’t see the horrors until the next morning. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Extremely dirty corners. I hit my ankle on a metal piece sticking out of the bed (did report to staff upon check out). Spider in the sink. It’s now dead. Roach crawling on closet door, it’s now dead. But wasn’t able to kill the roach CRAWLING INSIDE THE MICROWAVE!!!! Staff was nice. Breakfast was brown bag with English muffin (didn’t eat it because we were not going to heat that up in our roach-infested microwave), & breakfast bar.

The first impression was not the best. The desk clerk was a bit rough. The room was an average 2 bedroom room. The beds were comfortable and there were 4 good pillows. Asked the desk clerk for extra blankets and was told that they did not have any. That was a first. Have never heard that before. The room was well lit. There were no USB ports. There were a coffee maker, a microwave, and a fridge. The fridge needed defrosting. TV was good. There was no booklet with emergency info, TV channel listing, hotel info, area attractions, etc. The shower was very nice. Large walk-in. No tub. Water pressure and volume were poor like most hotels. The toilet seat was very loose. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The bag breakfast was pathetic!! Overall, not a bad place to stay for the price.

The staff is courteous and processional. This is a clean and comfortable hotel. The rooms were clean with no odor. The bed, was super comfortable. In fact, I was impressed with how comfortable it was. I slept good!! I never made it to breakfast, so I don’t know how it is. If I am in the area, I would consider staying here again. The price of the room seemed a bit bit high, at $139 a night. But I am not from the area, so maybe that’s the average price.

Booked this hotel to be near Busch Gardens for our New Year's Eve celebration. The front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to get into our room a bit early, which was very nice. The location was great, it was a quiet area, near I75 and about 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. It had everything we needed for a one night stay; comfy bed, refrigerator, hot water and 11am check out time. Check this place out. I plan to be back!

I booked this hotel as an overnight getaway to the Hardrock Casino. This was the first time I chose this hotel it is part of the choice hotel properties which have always been more than satisfactory. It was centraly located off the interstate. The hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly the room very clean and cozy. The beds were so comfortable the walk in shower was a great feature. There was breakfast included in the price good selection of hot and cold foods. Will definately stay again.

Here's my very recent experience with this hotel: First of all it is important to mention that my family and I didn't have any 'major' issues during our stay (at least I didn't consider those as 'major' ones). But a big bunch of little things caused me to give the lowest rating and write this review. We stayed there for 4 nights and spent very little amount of time at the hotel itself, mostly late evenings and nights. But, even then had some really disappointing moments. For example, in the middle of a last night a women (probably a new guest) had opened a door and walked in to our room. She surprised to find us there and ran away saying Sorry :). The room - the interior of our room and of the entire hotel looked like someone did a VERY cheap renovations a few years ago. Mostly was done just the painting but the rest stayed the same. The shower cabin and sink had many spots with mold and rust; carpet was pretty old and a bit smelly; the toilet seat didn't stay up, so when my boys and I had to pee we had to hold it every time. Also, am not sure if it's related to the hotel beds or not, but my whole family was itching starting the second day and up until two days after we left. The most important - the room sound isolation is the worst I've ever experienced. The first night I thought that my teen boys started snoring like crazy because it was SO close and clear, but it was from the other room. The breakfast - the eating space and amount of tables is very small for relatively big amount of guests. For three mornings we had to wait for someone to finish or take the food to our room. The variety of things is pretty standard but the food itself is low quality: eggs and sausages are undercooked (probably because of the big turnover of the guests), little butter packages so old that sometimes starts to crumble, the oatmeal is very watery and had no taste at all and finally, for the entire stay the juice machine had a sticker "No orange juice available". Only the last morning, before the checkout at 6 am, we had some better luck with the breakfast. The stuff - almost always very nice, friendly and willing to help. Only at the time of check in, while my tired family was waiting for the room after a long drive, in the middle of the process the receptionist took a phone call and suddenly started dealing with a different booking. We had to wait about 5-10 minutes for her to finish. Not very professional and respectful. And finally payment - I booked my stay through Expedia and knew exactly how much I suppose to pay at check in. When I got the bill I noticed a little overcharge. When I asked for the reason, I was told to contact Expedia as it was their fault, according to the receptionist. After some emails back and forth with Expedia I understood that it was the hotel problem and they have to refund me back. Just a little pain in a butt!!
