For me It's not a hostal, it's like a 3(or 4)-star hotel. Everything is super comfortable and clean. I felt like that here is my family in Chile and finally I didn't want to leave!!! Anita is soooooo nice, she is like a mom, always tries to help you and to make you comfortable..... a tourist from china

Excellent care in a warm Hostal, attended by its owner Anita, who can recommend you to the last attraction nearby. Do what she says, have excellent panoramas. The hostel is clean, located in Dalcahue center, 1 block from the market where you can have lunch, dinner and buy many items made of wool (clothes and bed), 2 blocks from the...

Anita is hilarious. She treats her guests like family. A sweet, down to earth lady. It was a great experience. Spacious rooms and lovely decorations. Breakfast is delicious, especially the rhubarb jam. If you're lucky, she'll take you out and show you around. I highly recommend Lanita.

Wow what a hostel. We felt like it was our second home. The owner is a great person and really makes you feel like family. She is really funny and helpful and makes the best cola de mono. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. And the breakfast was again great. Fresh baked bread,...

The hostel is a short bus ride away from the main city in Chiloe, Castro, with buses passing very frequently. Dalcahue is a nice calm small town and Ana,the owner of the hostel, treats you like family, providing with everything you need.

We stayed a night at Lanita and Anita was a very relaxed host with a great sense of humour. The facilities were excellent and the location was great. The double room with shared bathroom was a bit more expensive than other places but there's not tonnes of choice in Dalcahue in low season and it was a lovely hostel.

Lanita Hostal is a very cozy and comfortable hostel. Anita is a hoot - she's sure to make you laugh -- and the accomodation are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful and Anita knows a lot about the area. The only downsides were that the hostel is not in Castro (it says that it is if you...

In addition to being spotlessly clean and comfortable, Lanita Hostal has the friendliest and most welcoming hostel owners I've encountered in my 5 weeks of travelling in Chile so far. They really make the place, and it's a great option for a base to explore Chiloe and a good value too. I wanted to stay longer but it was the...
