This hotel is awful. The sheets and beds and accommodations are outdated, the carpets need to be cleaned, there are no blankets on the bed but two top sheets and a dust ruffle. GROSS! Guests are awful too!
Our room faced the marina, we selp with the sliding door open every night. It was quiet and peacful every night. The staff was very friendly and wnt out of there way to make sure we had a great experience. A short walk to the beach but I wished we would have brought a beach cart.
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Located across the street from an excellent beach. Near good restaurants. Try the Ice & Cream shop up the street. The only negative was the bed was a little soft for my tastes. .
This place is in need of some major renovations! It is falling apart and DIRTY! Customer service was TERRIBLE! Street view only. Very disappointing and I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone!
When I plugged my phone charger into the wall outlet btwn the nightstand and bed, there were at least 3 dark brown clumps of something. Sizes varied but averaged the size of a 🎲 dice and should have easily been seen when the room was cleaned btwn guests, at least when changing the sheets. They could have been dead bugs but I wasn't going to get close enough to check. The notice that we were given at check-in, stated that, due to covid, our room would not be cleaned daily, which was fine - we always utilize the do not disturb sign since we don't need a room cleaned daily. The notice also stated there would be extra trash bags, at the bottom of the trashcan, under the bag that's currently in use. There were no trash bags to be found, and when we took the bag out, to replace with a grocery store bag, the bottom of the trashcan looked disgustingly filthy. It would have been nice, since we were there 4 days, to offer to drop off clean towels, extra toiletries, and a trash bag late on day 2 or early on day 3 but I guess we were supposed to stop at the desk or call for those. The view of the gulf, for our Gulf View room, was adequate but only from the balcony, not really from inside the room. I did call before booking, to ensure that gulf view really meant we could see the gulf since I read the hotel was across the street. We were told by a super friendly person to request 2nd or 3rd floor for the best view. I requested 3rd floor, then 2nd floor as second choice if 3rd wasn't available. We were given 2nd floor. We didn't try the onsite cabana bar, but it was cute. We also didn't try the pool or jacuzzi just because the only time we thought to, they were busy. I could be wrong, but I thought that, when I made my reservation, only one night before our arrival, the website said there was a hot breakfast each morning. The notice received at check-in probably warned us, but when we went to get breakfast, we were given options of hot coffee or cold apple juice or cold cranberry juice that was so watered down, it had zero flavor. My boyfriend said the coffee was good. Instead of a hot breakfast, we were offered a brown paper bag containing a fruit cup, small yogurt, small granola bar and a mini bottle of water. No hot breakfast and only the water was appealing to us. Thankfully, on our last day, a full bottle of room temperature water was on the counter. So, if the website STILL says hot breakfast, that's false advertising. Covid's been going on for too long to have that change the day of our arrival. Again, I made the reservation less than 24 hours before arrival. The bed was VERY comfortable. The location is convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. If you like to walk, you can find different scenery each day by choosing to walk along the gulf, on the walkway by the gulf front hotels, or on the sidewalks along the street. (That's how we easily found gulf view dining locations!) We were able to walk 10 miles one day and 7 the next. Share with guests that, rather than waiting in front of Waffle House for the light to change to cross the street to the beach, go left outta the hotel and use the pedestrian crosswalk. Its super fast to get across the street!…
