We wanted a place to stay near Okefenokee Swamp and the Comfort Inn met our needs perfectly. Our room was a good size and very clean. Beds were also very comfortable and we had good air con and a TV with lots of channels. A bonus was views of the railway from our window and the haunting horns which signalled oncoming goods trains. As a complementary breakfast was also on offer we felt the hotel offered good value for money.

We stayed here while on business in Blackshear. Room and hotel were nice & clean despite of the renovation going on. Breakfast is your typical Choice hotel breakfast. Pool was a little cold for my taste but most of all the water was dirty with dirt and bugs on the bottom of the pool. Not idea for swimming in if you like clean water. A lot of workers with large trucks staying here but it was not a huge problem. It was fairly quiet in our room. They did not cause any problems. Other than the dirty pool no complaints.

I stopped at this out of the way town's comfort inn after about 10 hours in the car. The desk clear quickly found a room for me without a reservation. the room clean was despite a renovation going on in the hotel. Breakfast was hot and good with a nice variety of dishes. Fresh fruit, yogurt, as well as the standard scrambled eggs. Could not have been a better overnight stay

Nice, clean, comfortable room. Pulled over in Blackshear and booked this room through Priceline and it was worth every penny. Clean sheets, room smelled nice, bathroom very clean, and towels smell clean. Lobby was going through remodel which was understood. Shopping area, food, and wal-mart about 15 minutes away. Great breakfast, waffles were delicious! Will stay here every time that I am in this area. BTW, the cleanest inexpensive hotel in this area!

The room has clean beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom is clean, and overall it is clear it is a new place. Their complimentary breakfast was good and served in a clean area. All the rooms seem to have interior doors (as opposed to the rooms exiting outside) and there is an elevator. Despite staying right near the elevator, I didn't notice any elevator noises during my stay. Overall: it was quiet, clean, and great for a good night's rest. Linda at the front desk was also incredibly helpful. I've stayed in this area a few times before, in similar cost hotels, and this was the first time I've ever wanted to come back to one. This is now my go-to hotel for this area.

We had a great stay at Comfort Inn. The room was clean, cool, comfortable bed, and limited noise. The front desk was very helpful, with dinner recommendations, directions, and where to find things onsite. We took advantage of the refreshing pool on this 100 degree day. We also used the onsite laundry facilities. We highly recommend this hotel!

So, travelling back home to Savannah from Atlanta, I turned off gps when we stopped for a bite to eat and forgot to turn it back on... Therefore missing my turn onto I-16. How stupid of me. Especially since I didn't realize I was not on the correct highway until nearly Valdosta!! Embarrassing. Anyway, that's beside the point. We couldn't travel any longer without resting, having been constantly walking out and about all day before traveling back home with no breaks in between. It was too risky anyways, with the backroads travel, deer running around, super late at night, NO CELL SIGNAL... So we decided to stop at Comfort Inn in Blackshear for some rest and recovery. Got a great rate online, much cheaper than Waycross, Brunswick, or J-ville. Also used filters for free parking and hot breakfast, which eliminated many other locations anyway. I was also attracted by the previous reviews and the consistent high honors this franchise has received from the national chain. Let me assure you, I am a real person with 750,000 readers and 400 helpful votes. My wife, who can get cranky on a long trip, and my son with multiple disabilities is also very real and we were all very tired and ready for a rest from the road when we rolled into Blackshear. We had a peaceful and restful stay of several days as we used it as a base for trips to the swamp and the beaches. It didn't start off very well though. I had a little trouble finding my way through…

Had a great stay. Staff is super friendly, polite, and helpful and hotel was very clean and beds were comfy. Price was better than Waycross and only a few minutes away. Will definitely be back when in town.

Booked this hotel because of it's location and rewards program. Sheryl at the front desk was very helpful. In the case of train noise, she did not beat around the bush. "You will hear trains.", she said. She was right. But, it was not a problem. You would have to be a light sleeper to not have a good nights sleep. The positive things about this place outweigh the noise item. The beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate, well stocked and presented.
