My husband & I stayed here for 5 nights & loved our cabin! The mountain view we had was awesome. We had a fire going every night in our fireplace. The only drawback or downfall is the noise from the traffic on the road, but it wasn't bad at night. The owners were friendly & helpful. Oreo (their cat) became...

We stayed at blood mountain cabins for a girls getaway weekend. The owners were very nice and helpful with hiking suggestions and directions. Our cabin was quite comfortable with a wonderful view and a fabulous fireplace. The cabins are definitely a little outdated, but the owners are in the process of remodeling. Upon entering our cabin, it was very musty...

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry that you feel you were "charged extra" for a creek view. You stayed in one of the lower priced cabins as we have one for $79, 4 for $89 and the rest $99 and you stayed in a $89/night cabin. We reserve the cabin that you specifically request...

The place could be nothing more than stick hogans for cabins and pit privy's for facilities, and the general and obvious kind hearted spirit of the owners would it feel like the Taj Mahal. Nice mountain retreat well located away from several small mountain towns in all directions to any outdoor recreation, food , music and or tourist area. FABULOUS...

This was one of the best places we stayed on the whole AT. Clean, super spacious, very cool rustic vibe, and the $70 some thru hiker rate made it an awesome stay. Its just a great value for how much space you get with two stories and how cool a cabin it is. They did our laundry for free and...

I stayed here once years ago! It is even better now. The new owners are amazing. The cabins are in a lovely peaceful setting and they welcome weary hikers from the AT. Fantastic! Even though I live on the west coast I look forward to a time when I might return.

Blairsville Georgia is home to one of the sweetest cabin stays in America. In one of the highest points of the Appalachian mountains sits a quaint group of cabins to enjoy. We stayed in the Panther cabin. Actually has a tree in the middle of it from the main seating room it goes all the way thru to the up...

My husband and I spent a great long weekend in the Squirrel Cabin. It was very clean and cozy. We didn't do much cooking but there appeared to be an abundance of cookware and dishes. Thanks, Matt for taking us in after hours and the trail info you provided. We had a wonderful time and look forward to out next...

My family of 4 stayed here for a couple of nights over our spring break. The owners were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. We stayed in Racoon Cabin next to the creek and right off The Appalacain Trail. We had a nice sized deck overlooking the creek where we were able to relax and take in the scenic beauty. One...

I used Blood Mountain Cabins as my home base for 3 days of Appalachian Trail day hikes. Arrived the first night after a long dark drive in the cold and it was such a pleasure to unlock the door of Raccoon cabin and find a warm haven with a pleasant woodsmoke aroma. All the appliances worked, the shower was hot,...

After staying in the Wolf cabin last Friday and Saturday, I would not hesitate to recommend these cabins to anyway looking for a rustic but clean and well maintained cabin getaway in the north Georgia mountains. Great views of the valley below, and convenient for hiking the Appalachian Trail as well as exploring many of north Georgia's quaint little towns....
