My husband and I decided to head to the Georgia mountains when both daughters went off to visit the in laws for Thanksgiving. We stayed, for 3 evenings, in the cabin with a hot tub. It was a great! We used it every day and really enjoyed the fact that it was only for us and right in the next... More

First of all I want to clarify that I've stayed at this resort three times, once for a wedding, the other for my honeymoon and the last for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time, the cabins were lovely, the staff kind, the views and quiet wonderful. We truly enjoyed our experiences there, the beds were amazingly comfortable, they had... More

My wife and I came here for an anniversary weekend. I was somewhat concerned after reading some of the reviews. From my experience, most of the criticism is unfounded. Yes, the place can use a little TLC. But it's serviceable. It's not a big city Hilton. If you're looking for opulence, don't stay here. We arrived late and the office... More

My Wife and I spent only two nights at this beautiful hideaway, but we will definitely be returning for a longer stay. We had a newly remodeled cabin (Meadodale) and it was just perfect for a quaint couples getaway. The wrap around deck was private where the porch swing and rocker was, I'd maybe add a small table for coffee... More

The staff very friendly rustic atmosphere. Thank you Susan for given us the map of Lumpkin county which was very helpful. It shows a lot of places of interest. Breakfast buffet was very good it was southern style cooking. Our room had a porch which we had our morning coffee. We will definitely be back next year.

Warning, totally overpriced as well as misrepresented on Web site. First cabin should have been condemned, second just barely a step up. Read the contract no wonder they don't give refunds. Nasty dirty moldy smelling broken down disaster of a place. Even people in town told us how bad the place is.

Most of our guests say how our website does not do our cabins justice. The cabin she is referring to was just remodeled, has a new roof, flooring and furniture. We would have been happy to offer this guest a refund and let them be on their way and we found it odd they would complain but not accept anything... More

Check in was smooth. Cabin is anything but. Iron burn marks on bedroom carpet, cigarette butts on deck and walk way into the cabin, slop mop in bucket on deck, serious need of paint everywhere. Smells musty and very dark. Outdated decor and appliances. Picture hung behind stove was splattered with grease. The all inclusive Southern style breakfast was a... More

We are so sorry this guest had this experience. This cabin does have a few imperfections but that's no excuse if it was not cleaned properly. I will personally inspect this cabin and counsel our housekeepers accordingly. We have been working diligently on upgrades and renovations throughout our property and have spent $500,000 in the last 3 years doing just... More

My husband and I rented a cabin for the weekend. It was a beautiful, quiet setting in the foothills. Our cabin had recently been renovated. (The website tells which ones have been completed). We enjoyed the hot tub room as well as watching deer from the balcony. Breakfast both mornings was excellent with superior service. If there was one complaint,... More

Beautiful mountain cabin resort with horse stables, wedding venues, swimming pool, walking paths, and so much more. We sign up for the breakfast each morning and each was great! The drive from the resort to Dahlonega was only 15 miles and it was a very nice drive. Our cabin was a one bedroom with a king size bed, hot tub,... More
