Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and towels. The 2nd floor had a great view. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would stay there again.

Great staff and location. Carpet was tacky and dirty, spider webs on pictures and in the corners. A good cleaning of the carpets and rooms would go a long way to boosting the appeal of this location. Disappointed. I haven't stayed in a Days Inn in a long time. I was hoping for better since Wyndham added their name to the branding.

This is a well maintained hotel close to everything! The administrative staff is the BEST of ALL my travels! They are knowledgeable and provide information about the Dahlonega and surrounding area.
Most of all, I feel confident that I am staying in a safe environment and sanitized to provide health and my well being. In addition, the Breakfast provided is MORE than most hotels offer. It has great choices especially for a long travel day on the road!
I have stayed at Days Inn twice in less than 2 months! I love Dahlonega and will continue to stay at Days Inn!
Kudos to Devon and his wonderful staff! Keep up the great service to everyone!

Fantastic customer service. Hassan and Devon make you feel at home. My father has been coming to dahlonega for many years and stays here every time. They welcome them and treat them like family. On my visit they remembered my name and my favorite room that I prefer to stay in. True southern hospitality. It almost feels like you are staying at a friends house rather than a hotel. Ladies who clean the room are always smiling and seeing if you need anything. They all truly love there job and it shows.

We booked this hotel for a much-needed overnight getaway. After reading the reviews we thought we made a good choice. Unfortunately once we got there we were extremely disappointed. The carpet in the room were filthy it looked like the edges around the entire room had never been vacuumed. When you walked on the floor your feet stuck. The fixtures rusted the furniture needs serious replacement. And there was an old sock on the floor from previous customers. This was a waste of our time in our money. We were so disappointed. This was a waste of our money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money. I understand with COVID-19 everything that is going on, the pool was closed. And I know they couldn’t do breakfast, but they could’ve offered packaged items bottled juices and drinks and packaged breakfast. I hate it when you work hard you need to get away and this is what you end up with.

Check-in was easy and room was clean. My wife and I arrived very early in the morning, and our host took the time to ask if we would prefer a room at the end of the hotel that didn't border an occupied room. Most considerate.

I walked into the room and it smelt like dog and bleach. When we lifted the covers we found two hairs that weren't ours. There were multiple fruit flies on the side table so I asked the front desk person for another room. He was very friendly and showed us two more rooms but unfortunately the other rooms smelt just as bad. We did end up changing rooms because the new room didn't have fruit flies but it still smelt SO awful. Overall it was just gross. The customer service was great but the rooms just aren't nice or clean. I will never stay at a Days Inn again. This is the second time I've tried staying at one and both times it was pretty nasty. I'm not even a super picky or clean person so for me to say this it has to be bad. I hope that they can make improvements because the hotel staff was great and I don't even know that it's their fault that it's like this. Maybe it's the age of the hotel, not sure. Going with Holiday Inn next time.

From check in to check out it was a very pleasant experience. All of the staff were helpful, cheerful and willing to make our stay a wonderful experience. We received a map with our room cards, the gentleman pointed out areas of interest and told us if we needed any additional help just let him know. The breakfast bar was well stocked and coffee was excellent. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Thanks for a great stay.

The location can't be beat! The views out the back windows are gorgeous.

There is no elevator, and when I checked in early, when there were only two cars in the lot, I asked for a first floor room and was told I couldn't have one. I guess you need to request an accessible room if they even offer them. I tried to limit my trips out, to avoid those steep stairs.

The hotel was very basic. The bedding was small (the blanket barely reached both sides of the mattress even when no one was in it) and thin. The pillows, though, were good and there were a lot of them! The a/c worked well and the shower was good. I wish there was more lighting. The room was very dark.

When I checked out, the manager chewed me out with a lecture about how using a third party booking agent (like trip advisor) was harmful to the business owners and America.

Great hospitality from all staff members. The location was very quiet and a short distance from restaurants, North Georgia College and the Dahlonega Square. The roams were very clean with plenty of fresh towels and bath cloths. The beds were very comfortable. It was a great place to stay and our family enjoyed the hotel. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.
