We had a great time, a quiet place to rest, the breakfast is very good and the people friendly... but the last day somebody toke a couple of our belongings from the room, it was a headache finishing our stay.

We had booked Sunset hotel, partially based on the fact it was #1 here on TripAdvisor. However we had an overnight layover on San Andres nearly two weeks prior to our stay and I used this opportunity to go look at Sunset. I passed Playa Tranquilo on our way and it immediately grabbed my eye. I stopped in and asked...

Best place to stay in San Andres. Amazing staff and best diving center :-) We loved every bit of our 8 day stay at Playa Tranquilo, our 7 dives with Scuba San Andres, and already miss diving with our new friends! We will come back for sure here. Recommend to everyone who is looking for a beautiful quiet site away...

I really enjoyed Playa Tranquillo, a nice place in the middle of San Andres Island, quite far from the noisy city. It is run by friendly people, mainly specialist of diving. The Bouddha on the swimming pool give the tone and the atmosphere. The rooms are large and confortable but it is not really a boutique hotel. However it may...

We had low to no expectations for San Andres, after staying on the busy boardwalk section of the island for a day, until we made our way out to the part...

Relaxing stay, with decent snorkeling right across the street. Room was comfortable and quiet -- street noise was minimal even though we were on the street side. Moses (the owner) and all the staff was accommodating, responding to every need immediately. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. The only negative was the $20,000 COB (a little over $6USD) taxi into town...

We stayed at Playa Tranquilo for 7 days. The apartment that we choose has a TV room and a kitchen, and a beautful view frow the kitchem window to the sea...we had a good time there. And for whom wants to starts scuba, they have good teachers.

The bedroom was just about acceptable but the bathroom was very old and in need of a serious make-over. The internet didn’t work so well in the bedroom, the general garden area was overgrown. The manager/owner was off-ish at first. But the other staff were helpful. The pool is a little small and includes large doses of chlorine. But it...
