After having experienced dreadful accommodation in Oban and Bute driving to Skye, we were keen to get this part of our holiday right. We pre warned the company by email informing them about our previous experiences staying in Scotland and that we expected the best of their lodge for our arrival, so they must had read it! It was lovely...

Isle of Skye is a beautiful place with lot of natural beauty and sightseeing points. Clan Donald Skye is also located at one such place. There's and entrance ticket to enter. There are ruins from the history and lush green garden in front which overlooks the ocean. The views are very beautiful. As one goes inside there are beautiful gardens...

We only made the coffee shop as the weather for walking the gardens was appalling. Shop was bright and airy, friendly staff and good selection of eats. What we saw of the gardens look super. Only a ten Minute walk from the ferry terminal in Armadale.

We stayed in one of the two apartments located above the little restaurant (which closes at 5 pm). It was huge (2 bedrooms), with enormous living room looking out over the loch, full kitchen with dining nook, even a "drying" room, which came in handy when we did our laundry. Well stocked, self catering, but handy to go down to...

Our experience at the cafe was very disappointing. The prices listed outside were not what we were charged (it stated £1.95 for tea and scones and we were charged £7.95 for two people). When we asked for cream, we were told there was none which was incorrect as we asked another member of staff 10 min later for cream and...

We stayed in the cabins on this stunning estate for a week in August. The cabins, although not luxurious are very cozy and comfortable and equipped with absolutely everything you could need. From a previous review I knew to bring some candles which made the ambiance just perfect. Staying in these cabins is worth it for the view alone -...

We rented one of the Clan Donald lodges (cottage) for a long weekend on Skye and it could not have been more perfect. The view over the water (you're high up on a hillside) as well as the fully stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms and comfy reception were perfect for a family. The rental also includes access to the museum and...

My wife and I decided to take our two boys to the Clan Donald Estate for a day trip while visiting Skye. I initially thought the £16 for two adults was a bit steep but felt better when told my kids were free as they were under 5. After walking in I found a wonderful haven for my boys. We...

We spent half a day in this place and it was a lovely visit. The restaurant has a good variety of food reasonably priced. The gardens are great. We did the treasure hunt and it was good fun for children and adult s alike although it was a bit over priced. The museum of the isles was interesting.
