This site is lovely. I stayed here about 4/5 years ago and my return trip was great. I had been told when booking that arrival was between 12.30 and 7 - but as I found the caravan had a flat tyre when I came to...More

Good basic campsite. No problems finding. Small basic shop. Toilet and showers spacious but bit old. Best thing is the pub which has excellent food. Bet it's great in summer as by river and pub has lots of picnic benches.

Hi Will, I can see the pub has changed hands but seeing your review does this mean the original owners of the pub/campsite now own only the campsite? This sounds just like him and his wife. We stopped camping here because of his attitude (driving around the campsite of an evening checking up on people not very relaxing!)

The pub ( Red Lion ) is owned by The Chamberlain Family. The camping is a totally separate entity owned by a private individual! I have asked at the pub! 😃
