Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the second time my car has been broken into. The first was time was my fought I did not lock my car. As you can see this one was NOT, 31 cars got windows knocked out. They claim they have 24 hour security, not true. I am a Diamond member and have stayed at this location multiple times. I have tolerated the poor management, they are always out of products and have sent multiple complaints. Only with one response. You cannot regulate the temperature of your room. I have seen their night time security sleeping in the customer office space. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Hotel's Favourite
All staff was wonderful—except for the person at the hotel I originally spoke to by phone who was rude, disrespectful and condescending. I discussed this with the general manager in person but got no feedback. The Hyatt I stayed in last time includes breakfast. Something to consider for your hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room very clean. And I loved the water with lemon in the lobby.

My family and I came for a tragic and unexpected funeral. While we were there 7 family members vehicles were broken into and vandalized all in the same are and time at night. When the front desk was notified they informed us that there were no security cameras in the parking area and that it basically wasn’t their problem because that area was public property amd not Hilton’s. The next night when they were asked could we park in a lighted secure area which was closer to the hotel they told us no and the person I spoke to informed me he was aware of why I was there and he had been “dealing” with our funeral party all day. Keep in mind the parking area we parked at was the parking lot for the hotel. It was already a tragic event and the stay at this Hilton made it that much worse.

First class. Quiet location, on a golf course, king rooms are roomy and luxurious. A "true" Hilton experience in a beautiful setting. The "pub" is just right, not trying to be something it's not, food was way better than I expected. Added fun in the pub was two good pool tables and a crack, jack of all trades, barkeeper.

I booked through Capital one travel which I do alot when I stay. Checked out and said I was good no charges. They ended up charging me the full stay plus more when they said Capital one wasn't set up with them. I have called to resolve this and they keep saying its getting taken care of but no one will call me back. The professionalism and consideration on the higher level management is poor with no care for their customers.

Response from Christopher Alto, General Manager at Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center
Responded 22 Dec 2023
Dear kristenn757, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am also glad we were able to discuss the issues personally. I am sorry for the confusion with your reservation and then the compounded mistake made when trying to fix the billing. We certainly hope to see you again in the near future as we hope to have the opportunity to demonstrate the level of service we expect and you deserve. Stay well,

The rooms are not deep cleaned or sanitized. There was hair all over the bathroom, dirty faucet, outlets, counter, and door. Every corner in the room and bathroom were dirty and the sheet and comforter were dirty. CONFERENCE ROOM STAFF WERE GREAT!!!

Your Front Desk Managers and Lounge Staff are exceptional! Upon checking in on October 8th, the Front Desk Manager, Michael, discovered that our booking agency, Priceline, had double booked our room for the first night. He had to go back to Priceline twice to get them to correct their double booking. Michael's manor in approaching this potentially serious matter was "text book" on how to successfully resolve a conflict in a mild mannered but effective way. He was successful in getting Priceline to correct their error in a very professional and courteous way. Not many others could have been as successful with such ease and efficiency! He's a real Pro who represents Hilton in the best possible light. We also compliment two employees working in the Bar, Robert and Olivia. Being very tired after a long drive, they went the second mile to provide a very warm and friendly welcome that is just what we needed. They also made sure we could have dinner from the extensive menu served right where we were relaxing. It was a delicious and ample dinner with wine. But most importantly, they made us feel right at home in all respects. What a perfect welcome it was at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta, and we went back the next evening to again enjoy their warm hospitality and very efficient service. They really went the second mile for us. Upon checking out of the same Hotel and Conference center on Oct 10th, the Front Desk Manager was Pamela. She was both efficient and polite. A couple of the charges on the bill were somewhat confusing and one charge was missing. She ensured all the charges were correct. She also educated us on using our Hilton Honors membership when we want to make reservations in the future. She, like Michael, was a real pleasure to work with and a real pro in all respects!

The hotel is lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat here so I can’t comment on the food. That said, we stayed in a huge junior suite with the tiniest bathroom I have ever encountered in a hotel of this size. So much wasted space in the room that could have been used for the bath. We are small people, 110 pounds for me and 170 for the husband. Not exaggerating here, you could easily sit on the toilet, brush your teeth in the sink and wash your feet in the shower at the same time. For an entry level room, that wouldn’t be so out of the ordinary but for a large junior suite, it’s crazy. No way we could get all our toiletries on the counter. I kept mine in the credenza in the foyer and there was just enough room for his shaving kit. Otherwise a lovely property.

I wanted the hotel to be better than it is. The bar/restaurant are in definite need of a refresh. Besides for being incredibly loud and definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, of the food options, several items were unavailable on Monday, which did not bode well for the rest of the week, the credit card machine was out all week, which was also not great, and some of the drink options were unavailable as well. But the service was great.

Had read some good reviews about this hotel. Pictures looked good and the decor was very pleasant. Big let down was the food offering and bar service. Wait staff didn’t understand the menu, and could not explain why Mac and Cheese was not classed as vegetarian. Bar had ONE bottle of Sam Adams and the cider was flat. $26 for what was claimed to be Tempura battered Fish and Chips. - but was actually pre-cooked and frozen pieces of triangular nondescript and tasteless fish.
