There aren't any other hotels for tourists in this town so there isn't a choice. First impressions of the hotel aren't good as the building is in poor state and looks unfinished. The outside is rather unkept .The reception is on the first floor , there is no lift and staircase doesn't have handrails and isn't finished. The reception looks...

The Tourist hotel is a modern establishment in Bungoma town. It's clear that a lot of effort was put into the structure, but opportunities in service provided. I found the customer service level lacking in an international outlook. It was rather casual. There was no one to receive us at the door when we pulled up, considering we arrived in...

On a house warming tour to Bungoma we planned to spend the night in Eldoret but plans changed and we decided to find accommodation in Bungoma....... Thank God it was so late in the night.... well fed and imbibed by our gracious host that we didn't have the liberty to scrutinize the place..... The super-large bed was clean and comfy...

Having stayed in the Tourist Hotel on a number of occasions previously, but increasing despairing over the malaise which came over the place; it was a joy to return on this occasion, and enjoy a very nice room, good food, and very welcoming staff.

My camera, laptop and money disappeared on the first morning of my stay, from inside my locked room. I left my stuff unattended for just half an hour during breakfast and got back upstairs just to realize that my stuff were missing. I immediately contacted the cleaning stuff and reception of the hotel who promised to investigate, with no luck....

The are working on the swimming pool which should up ready any time from now. A good place...

Bungoma tourist hotel is a nicely located hotel opposite Nakumatt super market. It is an old hotel opened in 1979 and the owner wants to renovate but i think lacks money for the same. The approach to the hotel is good and has spacious parking facility. The reception is very sparse. We were met by a lady who quickly briefed...

We arrived on Oct 3, 2015, planning to stay for 3 weeks. We asked to see available room options and were taken to see each option. When we chose the Executive, we were told the price "just increased last week"...suspicious. So we chose 3 standard rooms instead. The rooms are as western style as you can get in Bungoma, nice...

I must say that i was at first skeptical but thewhen i looked around the building though was pleasantly suprised to be ushered into beautiful rooms. The WIFI is excellent. The customer care service especially...

The place is cool, clean rooms, nice and well cooked meals. Try to complete the swimming pool and the gym room. Staff from all departments are helpful. Its the best place to be. Will always want to be at Tourist Hotel Bungoma.
