Im a travel blogger and i have tried a lot of places, but durna eco camp was awful, everywhere was dirty, we didn’t have hot water. And the most terrible thing was the food, i have tried the worst food in my life *here*, you can’t imagine how bad it was!!!!! And prices are too high for this quality, the day before we were in a 5* hotel in Jolfa, and price for food and residence was the same! But the weather was awesome!

The place a serene, views are amazing, and the people are kind and friendly. We rented a mountain cabin for three nights and we could easily stay longer to enjoy the beauty and peace of nature. We also used the natural hot springs at the camp. Even though they are much smaller than the complexes down the road, they are cleaner and quite which is a big plus. The food was great. The best time to visit, according to locals, is in June when nomads are staying close to the camp and the area is at its greenest.

Staying in Durna eco-camp was one of my wishes. I had this chance when I was guiding a tour at Meshgin Shahr. We stayed at nomadic tents (Alachiq) to experience sleeping in this special tent. Helpful People All staff was helpful and polite they tried to provide all the things we need. They gave us some extra blankets when it became cooler at night (for free). Remote area eco-camp is located in a remote area far from the city and any noise in ranges of Sabalan Mount. Nature is really untouched and beautiful. You can find different kinds of medical plants there. The eco-camp is a good place for relaxing and enjoying the silence, sunset, sunrise and the blue sky. the place is near Yaylaq (Shahsevan nomad summer camp). we trekked to meet them and nomads welcomed us with a glass of fresh milk and also some beekeeping farms were near the camp. the quality of the food (dinner and breakfast) was good do not miss honey and cream for breakfast. There is a small spa complex inside the camp when I wanted to use, it was too late and I could not go and enjoy hot mineral water. Most of my tourists were excited about the beauties of hillsides and traditional live music before dinner.

Friends organized this stay for us. We really did not know what to expect. The complex has a very nice restaurant, there were several nice cabins in original style. The view and the surrounding is amazing, quiet and very beautiful. Near the complex is a very nice spa and there will also be spa's at the complex very soon. The owner did his very best to make our stay to a success. Highly recommended!!

We stayed unfortunately only for 2 nights at this place during our trip with friends through the North of Iran. It is licsted high up in the mountains with a magnificent view. The owner and his Staff really treated us well and the food they made was great. Real Iranian specialties. The two evenings there was a spontanuoud party with even local guys giving a dancing show. Worth going there. We will definitely go back again Willeke and Ron
