As a last-minute trip, we took a four-day weekend to visit North Georgia and the Brasstown Resort and Spa. We knew very little about it and responded to an advertisement. It exceeded any of our expectations. The facilities are beautiful with numerous activities available. It is also nestled in the mountains of North Georgia with abundant exploring, hiking, and wineries available. If you haven't been, this is one you should visit

We visit Brasstown Valley a few times a year. It's a great place to relax and a great family trip. The people are friendly and accommodating. Many have worked there for years. We enjoy the spa, the large fireplace in the lobby, and the beautiful grounds. When we take the family our grandkids enjoy the game room, pool, and pony rides. Food is always good too.

The whole resort needs a remodel. Torn carpet, fireplace smoke in the lobby (flue needs cleaning). This was Thanksgiving week and the resort used to be very accommodating (we've gone the last 5 years), coffee in the lobby or restaurant (free) all day, Wednesday night with Santa w/hors d'oauvre. This year one hour planned - lasted 30 minutes with nothing served. No coffee unless your up by seven and then only for a very short time. I had to pay $7.35 for two cups at 9:30 am. They do have some very dedicated pleasant personnel but few in number and a lot on the other side of the coin. It seemed to us that we were paying this year for any upcoming remodel or repair to be in the future. We will not return for year six. Very disappointed,

Dear Alek M, We apologize for the inconvenience caused during your stay at our resort. We understand your concerns about the need for a remodel and the issues with torn carpet and fireplace smoke in the lobby. We appreciate your feedback and will address these maintenance issues promptly to ensure a better experience for our guests. Regarding the Thanksgiving week activities, we apologize for the disappointment caused by the changes in our offerings. We understand your dissatisfaction with the abbreviated Santa event and the limited availability of complimentary coffee. We will take your feedback into consideration and work on improving the planning and execution of such events in the future. We appreciate your kind words about our dedicated and pleasant staff members. However, we apologize if their availability was limited due to high demand. We will make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate staffing levels to provide better service to our guests. Regarding the price of coffee, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We will review our pricing structure to ensure it aligns with the expectations of our valued guests. Once again, we apologize for not meeting your expectations this year. We understand your disappointment and respect your decision not to return for year six. We value your feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future. Regards, Jon Peels

This is the PERFECT resort experience that feels so comforting and relaxing!! If you need a retreat to recharge and spend time in nature, this is the place. The resort and rooms are beautiful as well and everything is kept so clean! The views of the mountains are incredible and you really relax as soon as you arrive here. What made this trip so incredible though was how kind everyone was. Each and every person who works here made me feel so at home and went out of their way to be kind to me. I have a list of some of the people who went above and beyond to be kind to me, and I want to thank them! Renata at the front desk is incredible and went out of her to be kind and helpful. Robyn, Erin, Jennifer, Danielle, Kimberly, and Lee at the front desk are all amazing too! Chip, Eugene, and Corey the valets are also amazing! Wayne the security guard, Alvin who works at the golf course, Mandy, Amberlee, Geneivieve, and Autumn at the Spa, Troy, Lisa, Diane, Michelle, Mary, Brannon, Michael Craus, Hannah, and Lily at the Dining Room and Brassies, Sara from housekeeping, Gloria who works at the pool, Wayne at the golf course, and JC and Dana at the stables. Truly such kindhearted, professional people that make you feel at home. This is such a wonderful resort. I look forward to coming back!

Great weekend get away! The restaurant staff was so helpful. Wesley went out of his way to get things for us even though the place was a little busy for dinner on Saturday night. Shawna (sp?) helped me get eggs for breakfast that didn't have cheese in them. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Nice location, quiet & comfortable room. We hope to have time to do the Axe throwing next time. It was a quick trip for us this time but next time we want to enjoy more of what the resort offers. It offers so much!

We chose Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa based on its location to several different areas we wanted to visit for the first time. It was a great base for our trip to Brasswood Bald, Helen, Blue Ridge and to attend a concert at the GA Mountain Fairgrounds. We were lucky to get a mountain facing room instead of the parking lot. We were so impressed with the resort upon checking in. The grand lobby and back deck area are both gorgeous, giving such a warm and cozy feel! Our check-in was seamless and our room was very clean and comfortable. There were very limited channels on the television, but that is not a deal breaker. We did not eat in the restaurant, but did eat in the outdoor area of Brassies Grill. Our service and dinner were great. We were surprised to find a game room there and enjoyed relaxing by playing some old school video games! We went outside one night and sat in the swings facing the mountains and walked over by the tennis courts along the golf course/beautiful trail. We only stayed 3 nights and were out exploring all day so we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy all the other amenities such as horseback riding and the gym and the pool in the warmer months. This place is a gem and I cannot wait to return one day specifically just to relax and enjoy the resort!

Spent three nights during the week to see fall colors. We were a little early. This was our first visit, and the overall experience was very good. We were able to get a room facing the mountains, and not the parking lot. The views were terrific, and the facility is very well maintained.

From the moment we arrived the staff at the resort and golf course were top notch. Before we checked into the resort my wife drove the cart while I played the golf course. I’m an average to high handicap player. The course was very fun to play. Forgiving fairways yet challenging enough. Beautiful course and awesome views of the mountains. Pro shop was stocked with VERY nice apparel. Room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Can’t say enough about the staff. Great service at the restaurants. Dinner outside overlooking the golf course at sunset was worth the trip. Great chicken dish. We live about an hour and 15 minutes south of resort. I will definitely be back soon to play golf on a regular basis. Hope to plan a stay with the rest of the family in the future. There is a lake not even a mile away from resort. Hope to get over there next time and rent some jet skis. Well done Brasstown Valley Resort.

I really struggled between a low score and a four. The staff are friendly. The amenities are great. BUT the rooms need a major upgrade as in new carpet and paint and lamps. The hotel is dated and the rooms show their age. This could be a top-notch resort if they just invested in the rooms.
