Had a lovely short break in Venice but cannot rate this hotel as anything other than average. Whilst there was a small fridge in the room there are no drink making facilities or even any cups or glasses provided-only paper cups in the bathroom. The room was clean but very small and we had to request a change of room as we were awakened in the early hours on the first night by the people in the next room taking showers-the water flowing and pipework was incredibly noisy. The next room was better and quieter, however in neither room the TV was difficult to get to work with poor sound quality. We found the cooked options for breakfast-pieces of sausage, smoked bacon and bright yellow scrambled egg unappetising and the cereal was similarly vile so ended up just eating toast you cooked yourself.Fresh fruit option was basically just apples. You could also have opted for rolls,or chocolate croissants or a pot of yoghurt but it all looked bought in ,not freshly made. There were no other meal options at the hotel and be aware at this time of year the Lido is very quiet with little choice for places to eat in the evening. The concierge tried to be helpful with travel information but we found more reliable sources at the boat office. There was no list of services available like ironing or laundry and no book of information in the room to help.

A special stay,
I went for the second time to visit Venice this time with my children and some friends.
This time everything went much easier ....
I flew Suceava-Treviso, I left the airport and I got on the bus that runs Airport - Piatale Roma (12 euros per person or 11 euros group), I arrived in Piatale Roma I took a free pass 7 days on all means of transport ( 60 euros per person) and by vaporeto we quickly reached the Lido of Venice where walking 200m we reached the Boulevard hotel that was waiting for us with the rooms ready. It was a quick Suceava Boulevard hotel transfer. The first time I was in Venice I chose accommodation in the Marne, I got harder with transfers.
As a starting point to visit Venice, the accommodation in Lido is great, San Marco Square is the first vaporeto station and on the way back it is the third, very fast.
I recommend staying in Lido.
The Boulevard Hotel is ok, the rooms are bigger or smaller by luck, the ones on the corner are smaller, but enough.
Breakfast is sufficient, and was served by the staff of your choice (covid protection).
The price of the accommodation was good, super ok, but it is not an accommodation for high expectations but it is clean and positioned fabulously well.
I was accommodated for seven days, during which I visited Venice but also went to the beach in Lido.
The beach can be public, you can put your coffin on the sand or you can rent for 5 euros a day a folding or private sunbed in which for 4 sunbeds and an umbrella they make 54 euros. The public beach is further from the hotel beach) private beach is 300m from the hotel.
Near the hotel there is a neighborhood store where you can find anything, food or drink (a beer 0.5 l 2 euros)
Lido has an esplanade area, or rather the main street, full of terraces where you can eat at reasonable prices (for Italians). They also have the super good kebab version 7 euros.
Venice has remained unchanged, with the same prices as three years ago when I first visited.
To finish, the accommodation at hotel Boulevard, Lido de venice, is a very good one in terms of value for money and the option of staying in Lido is the best choice.

The hotel is very conveniently located only about 150 meters from the main Lido vaporetto station and less than 1 km from the beach on the main street of Lido di Venezia.

The building is nice, however the rooms are somewhat tired and reminiscent of the grand old days of Italy being one of the few chic vacation spots in Europe. The dark wood furniture and the peeling plaster / paint coupled with a bit of mold around the air conditioner outlet are not the most pleasant sights.

The hotel was nevertheless clean and its breakfast was totally sufficient.

So happy during our stay here for 5 nights. The hotel surpassed all expectations! It was very clean and all measures in place during COVID. The breakfast was great and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The bedroom had air con and was a generous size and the room was cleaned with fresh towels every day. The hotel location is second to none. The Lido is just moments away from Venice and also convenient for the airport vaporetto. The views from the vaporetto station at sunset were incredible. The beach is just a short walk away and there are many lovely restaurants to try all reasonably priced. Grazie mille Le Boulevard Hotel - we hope to come back! ❤️

We stayed at Le Boulevard for 5 nights from 23 August 2020 and really enjoyed our stay.
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the ladies serving breakfast.
The aircon was great to come back to after a day out and everywhere was clean and tidy.
The location is great, being near lots of restaurants and only 2-3 minutes from a waterbus terminal where you can travel to Venice and the various islands. The beach was also a 10 minute walk away.
Covid measures are all in place and the staff are very attentive to these.
A great stay and we (family of 5) would happily stay here again in the future.

We stayed here from 8-15th August 2020. A traditional Italian hotel. The hotel is very clean, with friendly helpful staff. They have strong coronavirus protocols in place with hand sanitizers everywhere. Mask wearing in public areas is compulsory. Well done to the young guy in reception who has put the procedures in place. Breakfast was buffet style but served to you. Nice food and plenty of it with good coffee. Air conditioning is good and the room was comfortable with good bathroom facilities. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Stayed for two nights. First morning breakfast was awful so we went out on the second morning. Wifi didn’t work in the room even though we complained about it at the desk. Hotel inside us old and needs some tlc, only interaction with the staff was hello, goodbye. Smoking area is outside and right underneath rooms so on that side you get smoke and conversation at all times of day in the room. Overall very disappointed!

I visited at Xmas and choose this hotel because I knew that I could get the water bus back to the airport on Boxing day and to Venice on Xmas day plus the price was good. Location was excellent, in a friendly neighbourhood, a short walk to the pier with plenty of shops and a supermarket a few doors away. I was ill and taken to hospital before checking in, so the receptionist gave me a larger room which was great, as I was weak, slept a lot and hardly went out. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was dated but clean. It was very warm, so I opened windows. I had a kettle and fridge which was brilliant, as meals out were too much for me so could store snacks from the supermarket. There was a very large choice of food for breakfast but being ill, I did not manage much.

I was very satisfied with my stay in Le Boulevard. Everything works perfect there and the room and service is 5 sur 5! I can highly recommend this classical charming hotel perfectky located in the centre of Lido close to both the Vaporetto to Venice, Murano and the beach only 500 M away.

Spent a total of four days at Le Boulevard Hotel. This was our first time in Italy and from the very beginning to the end of the trip we felt very accommodated. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Everybody spoke English well so it was very easy to seek information on how to move around the city. Room was a bit small but cozy and very well kept with clean linens daily. Variety of restaurants were within short walking distance as well as the public beach! I would return anytime!

Answer from davesalt1060
It’s very easy. It’s a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the Vaporetto stop. Then you need the Alilaguna line. If you’re coming from the airport you can get return tickets at their office in the terminal building. You can also buy online and save a few euros.
Answer from Jeffster007
There is tae/coffee in the room however they will charge 50c for any extra that you want if you run out. There is no pool. (Or if there was it was well hidden and not advertised!!)
Answer from Paul B
Follow the signs for the water taxis. Approx 10 minute walk. There are travelators so not too much walking. The water taxis leave every 20 minutes or so to Venice Lido. Cost €15 each. About half an hour. The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk.
Answer from L J
When I was there last week I didn't see any..by that I mean they had continental meats, cheese, bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. They did have some bread....yoghurt, muesli and they had a fruit salad. It may be best emailing the hotel - they're very helpful and better to be pre-warned than not. In the worst case scenario there's a supermarket in the clothes shop right across the side road from the hotel.
