Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Angler's Lodge helped us out during a tight spot and we are grateful to Jennifer at the front desk for all of her help! At the tail end of our trip we were delayed getting home due to Hurricane Delta. We are from Louisiana, and our flights were cancelled due to the storm. Jennifer not only got us into 2 rooms last minute, but she also got us into rooms super early in the morning when our cabin rental check out time came around. We were able to drop our luggage off early in the morning and head to Yellowstone for the day.

As far as the rooms, they were clean but outdated. Not really an issue for one night though. Nice beds, clean linens, spacious rooms. The main problem we had was with the weird jacuzzi tub in our room. We didn't use ours because we have one at home and I know on a personal level how impossible it is to truly get one clean. No matter what you do, there's always going to be someone else's bathwater in the tubing.

The jacuzzi tub is situated right next to the bed, and Lord help you if your neighbor decides to disregard the sign on it asking you not to operate it after 11pm- like ours did. At about 11:30pm just after we got our baby to sleep, we were awoken by a roaring sound that can only be described as 2 bears mating beneath a waterfall. It was SO LOUD and it felt like it went on forever! We were miserable and it took everything in me not to confront him.

Anglers Lodge- For the love of God, please just take those monstrosities out of the rooms for good! They do nothing but breed bacteria and make noise.

Other than that, we enjoyed our one night stay. Thanks again Jennifer for all of the help, it turned a bad situation for us into a bonus day at Yellowstone!

Stayed for a couple of nights and the room was quite large with all amenities, But as soon as I entered I noticed thick dust on the slats of the window blinds- it looked like they hadn't been cleaned for the entire season!
Also had a very complicated TV system with numerous extra buttons to push to get anything at all.
The restaurant had fairly high prices and portions were meager; one night the trout had no more than 2 oz of edible fish. A small quantity of mashed potatoes and one type of veggie only accompanied the fish.

This is an old Island Park icon located right on the banks of the Henry's Fork river. I have stayed with them numerous times over the years while fishing through the area. I believe that they have started to price themselves out of the market. On a recent trip I paid big city prices for an old room. The furniture is solid but old, the carpets are worn and the tables in the room are tipsy. The views are exceptional and the staff very friendly and know the area. But they need a do over on this property to brings it back up to the class it once was.

When we arrived after 4:30 pm, we had to wait before we could get in the cabin (still cleaning).
The view is great, right across the street from the Henry river. The cabin has 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 adults and 10 kids. Had WIFI and cable TV.
Now the bad reviews: Had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towel and dish soap
(we called to get these items and never heard from the owner). There is a $25.00 charge if you don't wash the dishes before you leave. The stove has 4 burners, but only two worked. The silverware had to be rewashed, since the silverware was not clean. Also, some of the plates also were dirty. The spa water was not clean. If you like very hard beds than you will enjoy the beds. Hot water runs out quickly for the size of the cabin. Its a log cabin so when people walk up and down the stairs at night, very noisy.

Sitting just yards from the river, this hotel is lovely. We stayed here, post covid, and felt quite safe. They took several steps to keep social distancing and disinfectant issues front and center.

The room was large, very clean and comfortable. Our room looked out over the river and in the evening, some families were outside, enjoying the evening. We also saw several anglers on the river.

I would recommend staying here.

In short...the place was unclean, dusty (cleaners came 3 days in to our stay to clean the cobwebs and spider webs) and dirty (they gave us window cleaner and rags and we cleaned the windows ourselves) and broken (e.g., missing closet doors, missing shower curtain hangers). There were NOT 5 queen beds in 5 bedrooms as advertised (two queen, two double, and two bunk beds). Several appliances were not working (including the stove). The kitchen was not adequately stocked (for example, there were only 7 forks and 3 tablespoons, no kitchen towels, no paper towels, only two mixing/serving bowls, one baking pan, one small rusty cookie sheet…it felt like it was stocked by garage sale mismatch bits-and-pieces). We went to use the grill, only to find an empty propane tank. To summarize: The accommodations were disappointing, unkempt, and unprepared for the guests. It was certainly not Vacation Rental standards (with broken and missing closet doors, burned out light bulbs, mismatched knobs on drawers, no hangers for clothes downstairs, inadequate basic supplies, several broken/not working items, and a less than satisfactory clean condition).

Terrible customer service during and after your stay. Smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night, couldn’t reach it to stop it, called the front desk and had to leave a message. Went to the front, but the door was locked. Turns out, they don’t have anyone on duty overnight. Couldn’t sleep, so we left early. Called and emailed, but never heard from anyone. They aren’t concerned with service, just taking your money.

We stayed here for one night and was very pleased by the room and view right on the river.
The waitress/bartender/front desk 😂😂 (yes they do it all)and chef worked so well together taking care of the people in the dining room. The Chef was so passionate about his food which was delicious.
Everyone was friendly and laid-back.

This place offers amazing views. Every room overlooks the river and the room was a rustic cabin feel. There is a shared porch that stretches the length of the place. The staff is incredibly friendly. Our kids loved the loft area of the lodge where there was a movie area, pool table, crafts and other games. I would definitely stay here again.

No one on site. No answer to multiple calls finally after waiting in the cold and just burning up the front desk number finally got an answer. At least 20 minutes later probably 30. If we had not paid already. We would have gone elsewhere! Not a good experience.. It was clean. But the service almost non existent
