We made reservation to this lodge for 2 nights at 4 th of July holiday, when we went in, we was disappointed.the shower room very small. I am 5 ft 2, 125lbs when I went in. My nose touch the wall. I am not joking. It is true. This motel location very good and they have gas station and restaurant....

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend 2015. We were late booking and ended up staying here. It was very clean and simple, the bed was comfortable, hot shower and coffee in room. Chairs available to sit outside. It is a rustic experience with clean services.. Backpacker and kayaker's would think luxurious. I have stayed at 5 star...

spending the night at the lodge was an interesting experience .The rooms were small but it's just for sleeping in, the beds were firm, and when you set the room temperature make sure you set the temp were you like it, because the building is well insulated. As far as the food and beverage, they do not serve hard liquor...

Stopped here to have breakfast on our way home from Stanley after Winterfest 2015... what a great idea! Breakfast was wonderful... everything was fresh and full of flavor. The owners were very friendly. We usually stop here for breakfast/lunch on our way home, but on this trip the food was exceptional! A great little hidden treasure on Highway 21!

Three of us stayed in the Lodge just for the night on a Friday eve. Fortunately it was kind of slow that night so we had the whole lodge to ourselves. Quite a deal! Although the decor is dated, we found everything to be very clean. The owner Jim was kind enough to go in and turn the heat on...

I had a motorcycle breakdown at Sourdough. Very tough situation to be in at such a remote location.Staff was very kind and helpful. Between giving me a jump, providing a battery charger, calling some locals to inquire about a replacement battery...they went above and beyond. They also provided a land line phone (no cell service) Also had a great Lunch!

We stopped at the Sourdough Lodge for a late breakfast on Monday morning as we made our way home from our annual Stanley Lake campout/fishing trip. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with two scrambled eggs and Aimee had the Sourdough Omelet. Everything was delicious; especially the light, fluffy biscuits, and the coffee flowed freely! Our server, Abbey, was attentive,...

I realize we can all have different experiences at any given location, but I've passed through the Sawtooth Lodge more times than I can count. It is the last outpost for food and supplies for the East side of the Sawtooths and a staple for the community of Lowman. It is a stopover for those driving in the summer from...

A group of eight rode our motorcycles from the Boise Valley to have breakfast/lunch. When the male server took our orders he made miniscule notes on a small piece of paper. When he brought our orders to us he gave the wrong meals to just about everybody. We had to hand plates around the table to get the food to...
