Just returned from an awesome 10 day break with my friend at Brad Ford's 4D Longhorn Ranch. The pictures don't do the ranch (quaint) & it's scenery (breath-taking) enough justice. There's no itinerary, Brad (The Crazy Cowboy) aims to arrange each day according to the guest's wishes. Not for the faint hearted, you're constantly covered in dirt & dust. We... More

My family (2 sons, age 23 and 21, my wife and I) spent 7 days at the 4D Longhorn Guest ranch this past July. The experience was awesome!! The owner, Brad Ford, and his ranch hands were wonderful and accommodating hosts. The ranch is authentically rustic. The service was excellent. If your goal is to experience a piece of ranch... We had an amazing two weeks at the 4D Longhorn Guest Ranch. Brad the owner and main Cowboy really helped us to improve on our riding skills dramatically. In the kitchen there was John who made sure we would eat really well every day we were there. The guest ranch is nicely situated away from all the traffic and unwanted... More

Our group included four women - myself and my daughter, my sister and her daughter. Growing up in Idaho and having knowledge of horses and livestock, we were very impressed with Brad Ford and his Guest Ranch! We were greeted by his friendly, loveable cowdogs - tails a waggin'. His horses are well broke and in good condition and his... More

Me and three young adults went riding for a day with Brad. The horses are very high quality-not the sad types you rent on usual trail rides. The one I got was actually a former rodeo horse and had lots of spunk. The lodge and cabins are so authentic and Brad had cowboy boots of all sizes for folks to... More

We had a wonderful week at the 4D Longhorn Guest Ranch. Our two kids (10 and 13 years) had a great time discovering real horsemanship with Brad, the owner. Brad is a real cowboy, and the kids just loved him from the very first moment. He did a wonderful job to spread his life and love for cowboy tradition and... More

I was trying to find a last minute horseback ride near McCall, ID and stumbled upon this ranch. The owner was really accommodating. The ranch is located in Cascade and easy to find despite being up a cool dirt road, about ten mins off the 55. I'd been on several rides in other areas before, but the brief lesson we... More

What a great vacation. not one teenager complained about no tv, the cell phones worked but I didn't see them attached to everybody. Everyone enjoyed the trip. We had never been on this type of vacation and we are so glad we went. The owner Brad gave advise and help with the horses and it was the most beautiful country... More

I was introduced to the 4D Longhorn Guest Ranch through Living Social. I am always looking for fun activities that I can take my family on. They had a deal where you would get a 1 hour riding lesson, a 2 hour trail ride and either lunch or dinner in the package. This ranch is located in Cascade, Idaho which... More

After traveling to the ranch and touring the grounds, main lodge and exploring the individual cabins, I was so impressed! What a beautiful setting and layout for a relaxing and yet exciting get-away. Brad, the owner, made me feel at home and I am so looking forward to all that 4D Longhorn Ranch has to offer!
