I had a wonderful stay at Keegan’s Beachside Hotel! Everything was Perfect! The location, ocean view room, friendly staff, and peacefulness was wonderful. I enjoyed going to the beach daily, having a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. Also, reading, writing, and going for walks. The internet works well and the room has a good AC for cooling down after the beach. The Princess Margaret Beach Trail is walking distance. There are cabs available that will take you anyplace you want to go on the island. This is a wonderful place to stay in Beautiful Bequia. I highly recommend Keegan’s Beachside Hotel. ❤️🏝️❤️

Went to the restaurant only, had BBQ ribs, seasoned rice and pasta salad, had the pudding with ice cream for dessert. Food was good, However food is served on plastic plates. I know they right on the beach but so are many others that serve on normal plates, cutlery was very flimsy also. Prices are reasonable for what it is. Would go back as food was good

This hotel was perfect for us. The price per night was in our budget, and great value considering the location and facilities! There were sunbeds you could use in the day, aircon in the room to cool down, and a happy hour to enjoy watching the sunset (5EC for a rum punch was our favourite!) On our final night we chose to stay and eat for dinner as the hotel was throwing a BBQ beach party with Dj. The music was so good all night and the food was delicious. However, the only downside of our experience was the micro-managing of the owner on the night of the BBQ party who seemed to unnecessarily ruin the mood of the staff, as before they were happy and doing a great job as usual. A special thanks to all the staff at the hotel who made us feel at home, always smiling and were great fun.

We stayed in a wonderful apartment called Sea Breeze. Separate to the main complex up some steep steps so not right for everyone. But right overlooking the water. Moments from Lower Bay beach. :) I really don’t want to tell anyone else about it!!!! So well equipped. Clean. Room cleaned and fresh linens every 2 days. Wonderful friendly staff. Private Plunge pool. Outdoor shower. Nice balcony with chairs overlooking the ocean. Perfect for chilled breakfasts post the morning swim! Really couldn’t fault it.

We spent the first three nights of our ten night stay on Bequia at Keegan's. It is very basic with a few nicks and dings but was clean and comfortable and everything worked, including AC. After spending most days out and about it was enjoyable to return to shower and cool off before heading to their dining room/bar areas (there are two). Even though there was a large party of 18 while we were staying there and may have stretched the limits of staff, we never felt ignored. In fact, when we checked into our other accommodation we returned that night for Keegan's Saturday evening BBQ almost like returning home! We just prefer the ambience of Lower Bay to PM or Port Elizabeth. A big shout out to Sharon, Desrick, Chelsea, Conroy, Juliette and Jeanette. They all provided excellent and friendly service. Highly recommend for those looking for basic accommodations and a chill, kick-back ambience.

I must stress and point out that we didn’t stay here, we only ate the restaurant. Dreadful service, food took 50 minutes to arrive, no apology for the wait. Food was awful. We asked for bill twice and had to resort to going across the road and pay ourselves, waitress didn’t even really acknowledge us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

We stopped by after lunch to get drinks at Keegans and had a fun time people watching and enjoying rum punch. They do take credit cards but the minimum is 50 EC. We plan to go back for a meal. Sadly we will miss the next full moon party happening the day after we fly home.

We enjoyed a full moon evening here with friends. Delicious hog roast & salad, dancing in the street & a bonfire on the beach. Kyron Baptiste & Kleareyes band played for hours & kept everyone dancing. Seating available on either side of the street on a first come first served basis.

This is a bitter sweet review as we had a great evening at the bar and grill. The food, drinks and entertainment were excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly. But our rooms left a lot to be desired. The first room felt like a converted store room with very little natural light. It also shared a wall with the main bar, meaning the noise was unable able. Hence the reason I said rooms! At 10.30pm we were forced to moved due to the pounding base of the DJ we had been enjoying earlier that night. We didn’t want to stop the fun but that riom should not of been sold. We moved to a different room which was slightly quieter, with more windows, unfortunately the curtains on these did not fit effectively, leaving you vulnerable to prying eyes. On waking the next morning it was obvious the room was less than perfect. The loft hatch in the bathroom was half open making me a little nervous ( admittedly too many horror films ). The toilet alway wobbled, the bathroom and drains were filthy and there was a drainage smell in the room. We did not stay our second night and moved to another hotel. I say it is bitter sweet as I know people that have stayed at the Keegan suites off the main site that have had great stays and the bar is brilliant. I would say avoid this place just make sure you have a good room.

We did not stay at Keegan's but spent a lot of time there drinking and eating as we were staying in Lower Bay and it was just a short stroll away! The location is perfect and idyllic and was our favourite place to spend our evenings. We found the service to be really attentive; big thanks to Kantie and Juliet for looking after us so well. Juliet makes the best Mudslides! The beer is always cold and the rum punch good! We ate there a few times for lunch and dinner. Although the portions were not huge the food was very good. The burgers were fantastic. The garlic chicken and fried chicken also really good served with the best potato wedges! We have great memories of our time there. We missed the full moon party as we had already returned home which was a real shame as it sounded like a good night. Hopefully we will return to Bequia and rest assured Keegan's will be the first place we head to!
