Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for a weekend with family. Caravan was lovely, good facilities, perfect location! Must add a special mention to the female worker on the high ropes on Sunday 16th July. My daughter was fearful and this worker was very attentive and patient with her and went up to help her complete the circuits! She was excellent! My daughter was very pleased with her helping! Couldn’t have asked for better service!

My partner and I took our nieces and nephew here for a couple of nights during the summer holidays. Check in was straightforward, we collected our keys from the bar as we arrived in the evening. The staff were very helpful, explaining where we needed to go. The caravan was a good size, had enough crockery, pots and pans etc for us. It's advertised that there's a shop and laundry room, which are no longer there however I do believe you can go to the next site along. The location is lovely being right next to the beach and not far from restaurants and arcades. There's plenty for children to do and the youngest two loved their time there. We have all said we'd happily go back again but next time bring even more of the family.

Brilliant family holiday Park. With plenty going on for children of all ages.
Beach access with a short walk to the fun fair.
Staff and entertainment was amazing.
Grazy golf and the new out door beach bar is very welcoming.
Clean park - well priced - and the food is spot on. Can not fault this park at all. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We stayed at the Whitehouse Leisure Park in a caravan owned by a private owner Debra Jones. We were supposed to check in at 2pm but it wasn't available until 4pm. When we went into the caravan we couldn't believe it. The bedding was dirty. There was a stain that looked like blood on one of the pillows. The caravan was dirty with mould on the windows and in the shower and crumbs everywhere. It clearly hadn't been cleaned or hoovered. My poor friend had to spend 6 hours getting it clean and we had to buy new bedding. Terrible experience. The site itself had a lovely pool and the nearby beach was lovely. It was quite a pleasant site but let down by a lot of rubbish where the clubhouse was and the park next to Jakes bar was a construction site. I won't be returning to this caravan site and would advise anyone to get a site caravan rather than a private let. Debra said she would give us some money towards the inconvenience but has paid nothing in despite promising to and not ignoring my emails. Terrible experience I won't be repeating.

Never ever again will I come here,
The security staff here have ruined my holiday and My experience of football I will never spend another penny on this site you need to sort this place out before you have no clients left.
How you justify changing the rules every night is beyond me.
Avoid this place at all costs. Its the least family friendly place I've ever been.

Could be a nice site, could’ve been a nice caravan.
The site was clean and tidy but unfortunately I find the smell of weed repulsive, a bit like body odour with a hint of mint.
The guy in the next caravan to ours was a pot head so when he sat on his steps blowing his head off the stench was drifting into our caravan, windows and doors were closed.
I dealt with this myself since nobody was in reception on the Sunday.
He didn’t smoke there again but on several occasions we smelt it around the park.
There is a speed limit in place around the park to protect the children, unfortunately this doesn’t extend to the staff pulling into the car park next to the bar, on a couple of occasions they were seen driving in like boy racers, worth noting that this is where the childrens play area is located. What could possibly go wrong?
The car parking is totally inadequate.
Anyway, the caravan.
Well equipped and nicely laid out.
The cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
There appeared to be dried coffee down the front of the sofa, there was something similar on the cookware which we had to wash before using.
The radiator in the main toilet was disgusting, not sure what was dried onto it but could easily dried vomit.
Would I stay here again?
I’d rather drive 9” nails through my legs.

Just a quick review on this park/building site
720 am starts for building work. Arcade fire exits jammed shut with chairs. Club opens between whenever and whenever, it's been tough times for everyone so please do your self a favour and spend your money in a place you will love. Stayed in private lodge c49 would recommend if you love building sites. Also not informed when booking hol but left too late to pick another.

Responded 6 Aug 2021
Hello- thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry the building work currently happening on park caused an inconvenience to you, the park have made all Caravan Owners aware of the works currently taking place & that would be the responsibility of the Private Owner you booked with to relay this information to you prior to your arrival. Again, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time with us, I would hope you may return in the future and give us an opportunity to rectify the issues you experienced.

Absolute disgraceful site management, aggressive, rude and doesn’t know how to speak to people. Apparently dogs arnt allowed on the grass (yes you hear right!) it’s a caravan park but dogs arnt allowed on grass. Told to vacate because I had quiet, obedient dogs. Obnoxious individual who has obviously got a sad life! Please if your coming for a street party with plenty of alcohol do so to this site, invite the manager on my behalf! Unbelievable experience for all the wrong reasons!

Unaware of the dreadful comments on Tripadvisor, I made arrangements to visit this site with a view to purchasing a caravan. On reading the reviews I was expecting the worst........
The facts;
1. The site is under new management
2. The park is clean and very well kept
3. The shop is small but carries all essentials
4. Children's entertainment available
5. The club house: Clean & Tidy, serving food, over 18s area, restaurant area, themed party nights and more....
6. Private access to the beach
I was so impressed with the site and its facility's, I purchased a caravan

The difference between gold and silver is usually down to size, what amenities it has and how old the caravan is. We have a Gold one and I have compared it with silver’s and ours is markedly better.

I agree with Sandra it depends on the person you have rented from however it doesn't hurt to ask the question before booking. I'm sure the site would accommodate as they must have been asked this numerous times. Good luck.
