We have stayed at the Hotel Burnham in Chicago for many years. We were disappointed that Kimpton sold this and we were uncertain if we wanted to continue staying there. To our great surprise, the new Hotel Alise is incredible. Much of the staff remained at the new hotel, so there are many familiar faces, all of whom have the...

We have stayed at the Burnham several times in the past because we love the location and the awesome historic and lovely building. It has changed a bit since it became 'The Alise' owned by Staypineapple a few months ago, but overall we had a similar pleasant experience. The rooms are small, of course, but well designed. The decor is...

The Alise Chicago was a fantastic hotel to stay in! I was in Chicago to see Hamilton and I was looking for a hotel within walking distance of the theater. This hotel was perfect! The front desk manager, Jackie, was kind and courteous. All of the staff were super helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value for...

I understand the hotel was opened in December under new company used to be the Burnham (rug outside still says it is). I enjoyed my stay, they have the European style bedware, with individual quilts, very nice mattresses, housecoats, slippers, very comfortable stay. they have little (very little) cupcakes and coffee in lobby in afternoon (afternoon tea without the tea)....

In addition to the top notch condition of this hotel, the staff are nothing short of amazing. Every single team member greeted us with a generous hello and a huge smile. No need was unmet and no detail overlooked. The location is absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to go back. This is my new go-to hotel in Chicago! Thanks...

Dear Brian H, We are so excited to hear that you had a wonderful time. We couldn't meet or exceed our guests expectations without the staff. When we gain a new member to the Pineapple Hospitality Family, we call it a win. Happy we could be of service. We welcome you back to The Alise Chicago. Warm regards, Tonya Scott

Over the past several years I stayed several times at the Hotel Burnham, a charming boutique hotel in the historic Reliance Building, one of Chicago's most famous landmarks. Some months ago I made a reservation for yet another stay at the Burnham, but was alarmed to discover a couple of weeks ago, just before I was scheduled to arrive, that...

Stayed here overnight with a friend to go see a show in Chicago. We both love the Burnham and we're a little worried about the fact that it has switched hands. Upon arriving, all our worries were put to rest. The front desk is still as attentive and gracious as always and the hotel itself still lovely. I mentioned to...

I was in Chicago for an extended business stay and was admittedly disappointed when I learned the Kimpton Burnham Hotel was now The Alise, owned by Staypineapple, a different property company. My worries were totally unfounded. This is really a perfect little hotel. The rooms are airy & bright with spacious views of the beautiful Chicago skyline. Staypineapple is replacing...

I had the pleasure of staying on a recent overnight. The hotel is small, I did not need or use a concierge, or parking. The desk staff were courteous and efficient. The hotel is in an old(er) building, with the accompanying charm and ambiance you would expect in a well cared for building. The elevator and hallways were of a...

I have been wanting to stay at this property since the 90's renovations turned the historic Reliance Building into an absolute beauty effectively protecting the heritage of Chicago. Dear JTCFIA, The Alise Chicago is one of your top three places to stay while in Chicago! We are honored... The Reliance Building is charming and at 121 years old it doesn't look a day over Twenty Five. The Wrought Iron, Mosaic floor, Historic marble and beautiful terra cotta gives the building style.
