Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of

Chicago has something for everyone. If you're looking to try some famous deep dish pizza, Pizano's is an excellent choice. Only 2.5 blocks from the hotel, and they deliver until 5am! As previously mentioned, the architectural boat tours are awesome. The front desk can set them up and make sure you have a guaranteed reservation. "The Bean" in Millennium Park is a great photo spot, but be sure to check out nearby Maggie Daly Park and Grant Park. During the summer, these parks have free entertainment including music and movies in the park. The hotel is right in the middle of the theater district, so consider checking out nearby Hamilton or Aladdin. There are a lot of great walking tours for history, the mafia, and ghosts. Don't miss the great restaurants nearby! Girl and the Goat, The Gage, Gejas, just to name a few.
All in all, you'll probably need to make more than one trip!
Enjoy!

Dear Heather D,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding renovations. The Alise Chicago was completely renovated in May 2015. The rooms are very refreshing and sophisticated. We have wooden headboards that warms up the rooms. Elegant linen all in white the showcase the bed. Our chaise lounge is tufted leather. The over sized windows really help bring this modern look with a classic flare together. Please visit our website for current photo's.
Kind regards,
Tonya
