Convenient location, easily accessible by train from Midway. Excellent front desk service and a nice size room... I asked for 2 doubles instead of a king. I also asked for a low floor so it was my fault that I could hear the passing trains, but my colleagues on higher floors said it was very quiet. Bathroom a little small...

This hotel is a great location for visiting Chicago. The hotel is located inside the loop with ready access to public transportation and taxis. Parking garage is across the street from the hotel with valet parking available. Doormen at the hotel exhibit a high level of customer service. They will have a cab called for you before you are ready....

I reviewed the Palmer House back in 2007, and it was a disappointment. Let me tell you, six years later and it is no better. First impression is the lobby, with its disgusting bar-like environment. I am so very sorry that we have disappointed you and have not provided a stay that has met your expectations, we do most certainly work to provide the service levels we are known for. Our lobby has become comewhat of a gathering place for inhouse guests to mingle in such a majestic environment.

As a diamond member they didn't upgrade me to a suite or anything special no welcome gifts either...They do not have queen size double bed rooms. The only plus about the hotel is, it's very conveniently located at the heart of the city. Very nice looking lobby and lounge. One suggestion would be treat their diamond or gold members a...

A classic Chicago hotel. Very ornate and comfy too. We were in town for a family gathering and chose this convenient Loop location. Walk to Theaters and State Street shopping. The bar is nice and the rooms were too. Recommended!
