the rooms were clean they had free internet as well free breakfast, however, the breakfast was not the breakfast you can have, we stayed there for 3 nights and only the first morning we tried there breakfast and it was horrible. mcdonalds breakfsast is actually better. the rooms were spacious and had microwave and fridge which was great. This hotel is close to Union Station and Michigan Ave. Great place to stay, but not too many good places to eat nearby. Smoking rooms only have double beds. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Had to request a mini fridge.

We came into Chicago late via Amtrak and selected the LaQuinta due to its proximity to Union Station – less than $5 cab ride – and because I had points saved up from the loyalty program. When we arrived, they were out of non-smoking rooms in our class, but had already bumped us up to a Jr. Suite. The room...

Hotel is located in the middle of the finical district in Chicago. It was within walking distance to everywhere we planned to go and more. Plenty of restaurants located nearby the hotel as well. The room itself was very comfortable and very well decorated and exceeded my expectations! Enjoyed having a stand up shower and more than enough counter space...

Our family stayed in this hotel for one night during the week. The hotel is located in the Financial District and it is an easy walk to/from Union Station. Since it is in the Financial District, most of the people around are working during the week not tourists or shoppers. It was decidedly quieter in the evening, and we enjoyed...

This is my favorite go-to hotel in Chicago business district. East to get in and out of and great, welcoming staff. I'm hesitant to rave about it because I don't want it to get any harder to get into.

Such a good deal. A good hotel, with plenty of space in the room and a very good location at a fair price. I've been there only for the weekend after a course (unfortunately, because Chicago is awesome), and shared the room with a friend, but it was really ok, the room has a good internal space and the breakfast...

This is my third stay at this location; it's my hotel of choice in this price range in Chicago. The location is perfect for someone doing business in Chicago, and within walking distances of popular attractions such as Sears Tower (I'm sorry, but I refuse to call it Willis Tower!). There is a shared bicycle ride rack immediately outside the...

Do not chose this La Quinta if you are staying for a weekend getaway and want to take in the local flavor--everything in this neighborhood closes early or entirely on Saturday/Sunday and the surrounding area is comprised of lots of chain restaurants that were uninteresting. We did, however, enjoy the Giordano's deep dish pizza that was nearby. It is, however,...

I'm writing this review based on a stay in July 2013. I had initially booked a "Double Bed Room" (or are they single rooms?), but they are quite tiny, don't have a stand-in shower, seem to be next to the noisy elevator and are not really worth it. In July all American hotels are really expensive, and the "Excellent" value...
