I recently stayed at the JW Marriott for an overnight business trip. Upon arriving at the hotel, the doorman (my favorite and most helpful person I met there) escorted me in and directed me to the check-in desk. I arrived prior to the designated check-in...More
Staff are very friendly and helpful, room was clean, but not fancy. Great location to the Magnificent Mile (and all of downtown). Breakfast has a wide variety of food to choose from. Would recommend this hotel.
Stayed here on business from the UK and as a first timer to Chicago, I was very impressed with all aspects of the JW Marriott. From the excellent customer service from all staff to the comfortable clean and well appointed room and bathroom. Lovely bathroom...More

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of
the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
