The rooms are outdated and extremely small. It is over-priced for its price. There is always a long time at the front desk and agents aren't friendly at all. I inquired about the best restaurant near the hotel, instead of giving a friendly answer, she pulled out a piece of paper and hand it over to me. The way they...

I tried to book a suite, for 2 adults and 2 small children. I could not because they told me that according to their policy, children are a fire hazard in a suite, but they would not be a fire hazard in a basic room. Needless to say, I didn't make the booking and don't intend to stay. I would...

This hotel is beautiful. The lights on the outside and the inside gives it so much life. I love the location. It's definitely in the heart of Chicago. Parking is not as friendly and will cost a hefty buck. However, the train (cheaper alternative is less than a block away. The rooms are very accommodating and comfortable. I love the...

- Great location only minutes from Millennium Park - Reasonable price - very nice staff at reception - Clean but small rooms. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything that is going on in your neighbours room. (we could overhear conversations perfectly) I would recommend this hotel for shorter stays, especially because the price was very...

Just ended a 3 day stay at the W and there was some good and some not so good. The hotel lobby staff gave little or not information upon arrival. We had issues with the temperature in the room and it was never addressed - we had to talk to Juliet who cleaned our room - to discover that we...

Don't let the lobby put you off of the hotel (the W has a lobby that is old world elegance fused with art deco). When you walk in you are sandwiched between a bar and a restaurant/reception area and you have to walk around an enormous seating fixture to try and find the check in desks in the corner. The...

We arrived and of course with the conference, the "W" was full. The check in was fast and convenient. The room was very comfortable, nice size and the reception nightly was fun and the staff worked hard to make sure we all were well fed. Our TTL was help conveniently right in the "W". We did not sight see. But...

This stay was my first at W Chicago - City Center. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of downtown--near the train, shops, museum, etc. The lobby has a fun Alice-in-Wonderland feel. The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms are quiet and well furnished. Overall, I look forward to staying here again.

I came to chicago on a business trip with a firm, and oddly enough the hotel was the highlight. The room was enormous, the bathroom was attractive, the ultra focus mirror was extremely nice, there was a device that created noise in the room to help you work, etc. Only complaint was that there were no hdmi cords provided, and...
