The hotel is as expected in terms of facilities and the gym and pool are actually very nice. The room was comfortable and the location is great. As to service they are certainly trying but when it gets busy it is not that efficient and also the concierge was not amazing in terms of thinking a little more about what...

In my experience, Peninsula hotels tend to have somewhat more advanced tech touches than most high-end hotels I'm familiar...

The Peninsula Hotel was an amazing place to stay! The staff was extremely attentive and courteous, always watching out for guests and greeting them upon entry or exit of the hotel. We booked an Executive Suite and was upgraded at time of check-in to a Junior Suite. The room was unbelievable, spacious and luxurious with nice touches of technology everywhere....

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Location was great, rooms better - plenty of space, nicely done, but the service was truly outstanding. Lots of thought given to every detail. Expensive but thankfully very worth the price

I simply do not understand how this could be rated the #2 hotel in Chicago. From the minute we walked in the door until we left four days later, we had not one single thing about which to complain. From the doorman to the front desk, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping, hotel driver; all offered exceptional service. We were upgraded at the...
