A well restored Art Deco age hotel with modern yet stylish rooms. In spite of the many original design elements, all of it was in good repair or restored to original specs, and there was not a hint of "run down". We liked it and also had a nice time at the lobby bar. Good drink selection, well crafted cocktails....

I stayed here for three nights and found it a very comfortable hotel.I had room 532 which was a basic double room but had everything I needed. The room itself is smallish but was functional with a good sized wardrobe, smallish bar fridge which was well stocked, smallish bathroom, good work desk and comfortable queen bed.The rail track was less than 50m away from...

First time staying here. Came for holiday party. Room wasn't ready. Waited over hour, many guests in lobby waiting. No discount offered. Room itself disappointing. No lighting in bathroom or sink space. Fiancé is getting ready in bedroom with lamp shade removed. No room on sink. Upgraded to king suite for luxury two person tub. It's built more for two...

Have been there for 2 weeks, pretty well located in the Loop and close to my office. Rooms are smart and well furnished ... cleaning is ok ... bathroom perfect! Just a minor: no breakfast... just tea and coffee freely provided ... but Starbucks is almost in the hotel :)

I had previously stayed at this hotel and was recently back for another 3 night visit while in Chicago on business. The only positive thing was that this hotel was very close to our Chicago office. While I like the art deco look, and the rooms were decent, they were EXTREMELY SMALL! There was barely a closet - there was...

Must say - great location. Right in the middle of every where and a quick walk to downtown. Rooms were small, but nice and good for a quick business visit. We were however quite disappointed to know that there is no room service! Looking at the rooms, we hadn't expected that. We were in fact pretty convinced that hotel would...

Right off, we thought getting any room in Chicago for under $100 a night was a bargain. But we learned once again that "There's no such thing as a free lunch". Parking was $60 per vehicle, per night. Wow! Then, once we found a better deal on their own website, the desk clerk told us that we would have to...

I stayed at the Hotel Allegro for a four night business trip. I found the Allegro a well cared for property that appeared clean and in order. Staff was always attentive and helpful. The bed and pillows comfortable. ... but the (standard) rooms are small and dark. My king-bed equipped room only had an office chair to sit in, no...

Thanks for taking time to review our hotel! While I'm pleased to see our staff & service was a highlight, I'm sorry to see you didn't find your guestroom to be fully functional for your needs. Should your travels bring you back our way, I would suggest looking into our King Premier rooms as they will have more space and...

Kimpton hotels are fun and classy, and the staff understands how to handle guests who like their brand. Yet, when we arrived at 4:30 pm on a Saturday we were told "None of the double double rooms are ready yet. It's going to be an hour or more wait." Really? Weird. We needed a room. Fortunately, I asked MANY questions...
