This property was exceptional! The room was spacious and spotless. Well decorated. The view from the large patio was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious. A varied selection of breakfast items and also includes the complimentary option of including fried or scrambled eggs (which we enjoyed). Our hosts, Fenia and Apostolos were amazing. So warm and welcoming. Our only issue would be with the drive to anywhere in Lemnos. You have to take a mountain dirt road to go anywhere including the beach. It did say country boutique in the description, so perhaps we should have researched a bit more. The photos had us thinking it was a little closer to beaches. If it weren't for the mountain drive on a dirt road we would have definitely rated this property as Excellent. If that's not a concern this is definitely the most perfect property!…

Hotel Ethaleia is a glorious place to relax with a fantastic view over the bay of Moudros. The owners Fenia and Apostolis are very friendly and environmental friendly considering their little zoo and the respect for the nature. Their hospitality and kind characters gave us the feeling of being more than welcome! We recommend this beautiful place on earth also for families.

Although the location is a bit off center to the Island main attractions, The hotel situation is wonderful, on top of a hill with gorgeous views. The buildings are beautiful and our room was huge, lovely and well decorated we loved it . The hotel is owned and managed by the charming couple Apostolous and his wife Thenia (?…) who really create the perfect boutique hotel feel of having your calm privacy yet being at someone’s home. Breakfast was good in spite of the strict sanitary rules followed that affected the experience a bit. The couples love for animals, extreme sympathy and knowledge of Lemnos will live with us for long and I would be delighted to come back to Ethilea any day. Well we really missed our yearly trip to Hotel Ethaleia when the Covid lockdown prevented our travels. But how good it was to be back there. This charming hotel is situated on a hillside with the most amazing panoramic and uninterrupted views of the huge historic bay at Mudros. Sunsets here are truly spectacular. The friendly and efficient owners of the hotel provide guest with very clean spacious, air conditioned rooms furnished in a rustic Greek fashion with immaculate bedding and lovely soft towels. The breakfast buffet serves lovely bread, pastries, eggs, cheese and meats with gorgeous home made jams and cakes. We so enjoyed our evening drinks on the beautiful terrace watching the sun go down. Great place, amazing hosts! The view is so beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast area is simply perfect. Moudros village, where Ethaleia is located, is an ideal place to stay, if you visit Lemnos. We will be there again, hopefully soon. Highly recommended !!! Angeliki, Loukas.

Greek hospitality and traditional design at its best!! The days that we spent at your hotel will definitely be unforgettable. Personally I have never experienced a better hospitality than that. We stayed for 7 nights, and it was exactly as expected. Apostolis and Fenia were super friendly, the hotel is very beautiful and cozy but the best part is the amazing view. I recommend spending a night with a glass of wine at the balcony.

There are no words to describe my wonderful experience at Hotel Ethaleia! From my arrival right to the end of my stay, the hosts Apostolos, Fenia and Dina made my stay remarkable. Their undivided attention and warm hospitality made my every wish a reality. Breakfasts were a real treat with homemade cakes and fresh farm eggs every day! The hotel is well situated in a super quiet position barely 2 kms from the village of Moudros with shops, restaurants and cafeterias. The nearby beaches are just a 5 minute drive away and are first class for bathing and can even be reached on foot along a track in 20 minutes. The well appointed rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and with amazing views! The hotel Ethaleia encapsulates the true hospitality of Lemnos with its impressive landscapes and fascinating history making it an excellent base to explore the island. My wife surprised me with a 10 day trip in mid September to this wonderful island for my 50th birthday. And I couldn't have wished to stay in a more charming place! On arrival, we were greeted with such hospitality by the family running this, it was special and memorable! Fenia & Apostolos, and Dina just couldn't have done more, even helping us get to the airport when a taxi didn't show! The location was far enough but near enough to amenities with only the sound of farming life waking you in the morning. The well appointed room had a breathtaking view across Moudros bay and provided beautiful sunsets. In itself, the traditional room was very comfortable, with a roomy bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious with many ingredients locally sourced and from the property itself. Sometimes, something off the regular breakfast buffet was provided by Fenia, and we looked forward to the little surprise each time! And not forgetting the greek coffee! It was a real pleasure to use this as our base to discover this understated island. We will be back if we visit Lemnos again :)…
