Stayed here last Tuesday on a groupon deal. The room was adequate and exceptionally clean. The shower was very good. Dinner was nice.....wine expensive (wouldnt expect anything else in a hotel though). Breakfast was not so good. The buffet choice was excellent but the cooked breakfast not so good. Sausages were awful, bacon very well cooked. Tea /coffee and orange...

Lovely location. Good restaurant and staff were very helpful. The lounge and bar area needs work to make it into somewhere welcoming. The bedroom we stayed in and much of the public areas need redecorating. For the price and AA rating it needs to work on the finer points. They did not warn us of the wedding function which was...

This is a great location on the A38 just north of Gloucester. Good parking. Nice helpful reception and good quality rooms.Very well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Good bar area. Hotel seems to specialise in wedding receptions so can be busy at times but service was still great. We have used this hotel before and...

I stayed here when in the area on business and was not disappointed. The room was small but adequate, nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. Good shower. The food in the restaurant was lovely, both in the evening and for breakfast. The staff were nice and attentive. Would definitely stay again. Very pleasant trip.

We recently stayed at Hatherley Manor for 2 nights in their Cathedral room no 236. A very nice 'Feature' room with wet room bathroom (no bath). The hotel is very nice, the staff very pleasant and attentive. The food delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfasts exceptional variety. Those are the good points. Sadly here are the bad points. Room 236 is...

We stayed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The room was very spacious. Service and food was very good. One criticism is that the heating had not been turned on in our room for when we arrived. This gave and unwelcome feeling. Also the reception area could be made to feel more welcoming as it was a little stark and...

I visited Hatherley Manor based on a recommendation from a Gloucestershire newspaper. I was disappointed. The claim that the food was sourced locally and was fresh. If it was, I didn't notice. It was very quiet - so not much atmosphere although my boyfriend loved the 80s music that was the soundtrack to our meal! We waited 10 mins to...
