Hotel's Favourite
We were so lucky to spend our first night here at The Roslin and we talked about it our entire vacation. Everything about this hotel was perfection, from the friendly and very helpful staff, the thoughtful and intentional decor to the incredible drinks and gorgeous food. We wish we would stayed longer. I can assure you that the photos in this review do not do the property justice. The view from our room was outstanding. Having a little patio to enjoy before we headed downstairs for dinner was so relaxing and a great way to wind down after a long day of travel. Dinner was exceptional. I am sure we ordered almost everything or wished we had. Our server, Charlotte, was fabulous. She made excellent recommendations for dinner, had a delightful personality and truly was part of our overall experience. We had ordered the shrimp cocktail and the burrata to start and both were a great way to start our meal. Very tasty and left you wanting more! We all ordered cocktails - raspberry mojito's, watermelon martini's and pina colada's... they were absolutely delicious and we continued to order these throughout our meal. Our main course was the best meal we had in the 7 days we were in England. We ordered the chicken caesar salad, the seafood capellini and the pork belly salad. The portion sizes were large, so tasty and left us wanting to order more but we were too full. I ended my dinner with some sort of chocolate martini. With the whipped cream and chocolate I felt like a kid again. It was fun, delicious and just the right amount of alcohol. After dinner, we changed and walked the beach for a little bit. It was such a quiet town and so relaxing. It was a fabulous was to spend the rest of the night and a stone's throw from the hotel. When we returned, we had one more drink at the restaurant and went to bed. We were so relaxed when we retired to our room. We shared in some champagne and hand made chocolates over looking the sea view's before calling it a night. My husband is all about the shower's in hotel rooms and The Roslin did not disappoint. The rain shower head had the perfect amount of pressure and did get hot (which is what we love). The products that they have in the room (shampoo, condition etc) were excellent, smelt fabulous and did seem to be cheap. All in all - this hotel is by far one of my favorite's and gave us the kick start to our vacation that was needed after travelling over night. Breakfast in the morning was FABULOUS! Honestly - their breakfast was so great, it ruined breakfast for everywhere else we stayed! The sausage was incredible and I loved how everything was served, with the toast and tiny jams etc. Our server, Lea, was literally the best. She was great to chat with and was beaming with positivity and lots of energy. We loved chatting with her! Like their dinner service, they have breakfast totally figured out. We absolutely ADORE this place and truly do not think you could go wrong staying here. In my opinion, it was a fabulous stay for adults/couples who want to feel a little bougie and well taken care of.

We stayed at the end of February and had the most wonderful stay, we’ve dined at Roslin quite a few times and the food is always fabulous but we’ve never stayed over. We ended up being upgraded to one of the suites and it was honestly fantastic the room was stunning, spa treatment was lovely and dinner and breakfast were the best, the food is always 10/10. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Splendid stay for our anniversary. Booked the winter warmer package with £40pp allowance for dinner, breakfast and stay. This is our third stay and we will be returning again soon. The dinner was amazing. Customer service throughout our stay was top notch.

One of the best experiences ever. Booked a table to celebrate our daughters birthday. Staff were friendly, professional, helpful and informative. Afternoon tea was excellent and plentiful. This hotel is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. We would definitely recommend and all of us said we would love to go back.

We absolutely love this hotel. Even though we live 5 minutes from it we still find ourselves booking the occasional night stay there. Stunning scenery and setting, beautiful food and drink, Fantastic, professional and friendly staff, gorgeous decor that changes with every celebratory occasion/holiday/season. Quick shout out for Karen - the Reception Manager.... Exactly the sort of person you want to be greeted by at the front desk. Happy, friendly, polite, accommodating whilst very professional. Nothing was too much. She truly made our stay special. Thank you Karen. Another quick shout to Sofia our waitress who was very attentive and friendly. Roslin, we'll keep coming back and can't wait for Summer on the deck !!

This hotel was one of the best stays I have ever had. This was a gift from my family and they made a great choice. From reception to departure the staff were warm welcoming and accommodating as well being very professional in their approach to any issues I had. The room was excellent, I had the best sleep in the longest time I can remember. The dining experience was a true delight

Enjoying our stay so far, all staff friendly and immaculate hotel. I couldn’t wait to write this review though after a full body massage in the bay lounge with Elise! The best massage I’ve had (and I’ve had a fair few!!) with very intuitive techniques with care over the knots and tight muscles. She has a talent for it and very tuned in to the body. Worth every penny thankyou!!
