We stayed 3nights at this delightful b and b. Jacquie is a very caring host. The lodge is spacious and our bedroom had an independent door. However we were most welcome to use the lounge, the kitchen etc. Jacqui treated us like family and we were invited to share a special meal with them. We felt a real connection with...

This is a lovely place and Jacqui was a great hostess. Breakfast was great and relaxing and the rooms were spacious and tidy. We had a great 3 days here and still think about the views and the friendliness we encountered.

We arrived having booked out 2 rooms and with one additional member of the party, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast with the fresh fruit was a great way to start the day before heading back to Auckland. Would happily stay again.

Just spent 3 nights with Bruce & Jacqui. The lodge is set in lovely gardens. Beds so comfy, slept like logs! Lovely clean rooms, fluffy white towels. Great breakfast, delicious dinners, veggies from the garden. Jacqui's nutty blueberry crumble is not to be missed. Lots of information about the area. Jacqui took us to 90 mile beach where we saw...

Was there for one night on my trip to the Far North. Nice room, bath room and terrace, with nice views of the surroundings. I've seen for the same price even better places here in NZ, but it's worth the trip. Bruce and Jacqui were very nice hosts, with good advices for food at night. The breakfast in the morning...

After winding our way up from Auckland, I have to admit that I drove up to the lodge with some trepidation. My wife and I have only recently begun staying at B&B's and it's been a little hit and miss. But this was certainly a hit! Bruce and Jacquie where wonderful hosts, with the perfect amount of attention and space...

Jacqui and Bruce made us feel like part of the family, in the best possible meaning. Bruce's poached eggs are probably the best on the planet! Cooked to perfection. The breakfast is amazing, worth travelling to New Zealand for. The room is beautifully appointed and well enough away from the action centre of the house to give complete privacy. Jacqui...

We stayed with Bruce and Jacqui in December 2012. We had one of the downstairs rooms, including a put-u-up bed for our 12 year old daughter. The accommodation was very comfortable, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Lodge one night (including Bruce's home made bread) and the other night we ate at the local pub in Pukenui - perfectly...

This was a great place to base yourself to visit the far north. We were given loads of really helpful advice about where to visit. The only trouble was that compared with other accommodation in NZ the price was pretty high so we only stayed for one night when 2 would have been better to fit everything in. The hosts...

We thought this B&B was just what a B&B should be: nice place, nice host that make you feel home, good piece of advice to visit the area, good food... I recommend having dinner there (and there is not much option in the area anyway), the food is great and a lot is home made. The olive oil and the...
