Travellers' Choice
Corton is part of the Warner Leisure hotels that achieved a 4 stars Tourist award in December 2009 and this has been maintained for 2011. We offer half board en-suite chalet style accommodation. Entertainment is included in the cost which includes live shows, bands, comedians, quizzes, competitions, bowling, and swimming. We offer Experience breaks and days out, for example on certain days you can learn to dance, sing, paint and much more. We also offer days out in the local area the most popular being the Broads which we are lucky to be very close to. Many Chalets have been through our ongoing refurbishment programme and now have their own private patios. Most recently we launched two new shoes and a very tasty and mouth watering menu which have been well received by our guests.

We had a lovely mid-week break at Corton from Monday 18th October. The positive comments are around the good food, excellent entertainment - particularly Faith Tucker who is a solo soprano singer of exceptional talent which we really appreciated, and the cliff top lodge which we stayed in. These were quirkily, imaginatively decorated with seaside detail in every nook and cranny. To be right on the sea front was very special. It is to be noted that the beach is inaccessible and very dangerous to think of trying to do so. This was a disappointment as it would have been lovey to walk on the beach itself. I used the indoor pool every morning before breakfast. It's rather small and the facilities are tired and need major refurbishment. The outside space is crying out for a new heated outside swimming pool similar to that at Sinah Warren. I wonder if Warners will bother to invest or just mothball this venue. That would sad. A day trip to Norwich with it's wonderful Cathedral and great choice of shops, which are no longer available to us at home, was a useful way to spend a day. Overall we did enjoy this trip but I would say it is not one of the better resourced Warners. For example, there is no Spa facility with treatments available. It's small and really lacks investment. It rained heavily one day and the ceiling in the dining room/ballroom leaked - which it has done before judging by the stained ceiling. Guests had to move to another table to avoid drips! So I probably would not return to to this Warners unless or until it is properly refurbished.

We have just got back from a Monday to Friday Break at Corton. From the minute we got there, we was looked after. Lovely welcome, and booked in from the car. Great Apartment, overlooking the mini golf course. and the sea. Had a good time at the archery and shooting, booked when we first arrived via the swimming pool. Had a nice swim and steam, got chatting to some lovely people. Took the bus to Lowerstoft and also Great Yarmouth ,bus stop from outside easy. £5. 40 for a daily ticket. Food was fab, served at out table by lovely staff. Entertainment was also good. In fact I cant fault this break away. We were at Gunton hall last year, and it was the same service. We are going back to Gunton in October and Lakeside for Christmas. So well done Warners, keep up your level of quality. Its like being on a cruise ship without moving!!!

Friday 22nd October and we have just returned from a 4 night visit to this lovely holiday village. We were pleasantly surprised at the friendly staff, immaculately clean, excellent facilities and fabulous food at Corton Warner’s. it was so nice to have our own tables and the entertainment area in the same place. The return of the buffet style breakfast and evening roast was very welcome. We will be returning.

We recently spent a week at Corton and loved it. We've been to several of the hotels but this was our first Warners coastal village. For the first few days we were in a standard room in the Beach Garden block. These rooms are much smaller than any of the standard Warner hotel rooms we've stayed in before - there was no table and chairs to sit at, just one chair by the "dressing table". The wardrobe was tiny and had a locked cupboard next to it. After a few days we upgraaded to a premier room in Blythe with a lovely sea view and sitting room. All of the staff on site were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when we had a flat battery and needed to contact the breakdown company (warning - depending on your network the mobile signal is weak/non existant). We played crazy golf several times, did Archery and Rifle shooting with Jason who was great. Colin did an excellent job of teaching us line dancing. Breakfast was brilliant but we'd only booked B&B as we are vegans and the "choice" on the evening menu is poor. Until Warners bring back the evening buffet with the lovely salads I'm afraid we won't be booking DBB. We did try a couple of the vegan items off the lunch menu but frankly they are not very nice (apart from the salad). The staff all wore masks but most of the guests don't, neither do they use the hand sanitizer when getting their buffet breakfast and handling the tongs. Perhaps this should be enforced more. We would highly recommend this resort, I was initially worried that it would be like Butlins as the view of the chalets from the main road isn't very impressive but I was wrong. Unfortunately due to the travelling distance/time from our home we won't be returning but it's another Warners ticked off the list!!!

On way home now from a well needed break at Warner's, the place and location was brilliant and the food absolutely amazing, couldn't fault it at all, lots of choice for breakfast and evening meals, daytime entertainment was ok,plus side was it had activities during the day, swimming pool/sauna and steam room, quizzes, rifle range, archery, line dancing, guided walks etc, group on the evening ( white magic) were good, opera singer on Wednesday night was amazing and I don't like opera, room was basic and could've done with a bit more TLC (a bit grubby) big shout out to young Louis who was very attentive ( pay rise for that boy) so enjoyable watching the older generation ( mainly based for OAP's ) boogying and having fun. Drinks are about expensive but there is the option just to have water with your meals, thank you Warner's for a chilled out time 😊
