So we stayed here in room 1105. It is a studio room, rented by Rosebud Rentals. Upon entering the room we found a dirty wadded up paper towel by the bed. The bed they said is a queen, it sure seemed like it was a...More
We spent a couple of days here for the new year. The resort is a bit dated, but well kept. The hotel lobby was clean and festively decorated. We reserved a one-bedroom condo, which was on the first floor. We were able to hear kids...More
Amazing stay, peaceful atmosphere, fantastic front desk staff!

I would classify this resort as having Condo units - not a hotel. They provide all of the sheets and towels, and if you need them to be replaced during your stay, you can either exchange things at the front desk, or call the front desk and have someone switch them deliver fresh ones for you. If you're expecting everything fresh daily, I think they'd do that, but it would probably be an extra fee. I've cooked a bunch of different things on their great grills, even in the dead of winter, or you can use the microwave and stovetop in the room instead. One of the reasons we love Wyndham resorts is because we can eat 1 or 2 meals in the unit each day and spend extra money on activities instead. So leave your sheets and towels at home, and go enjoy Wyndham/Worldmark Galena!

No restaurant here. You have to drive 6-7 miles to get to the main historic area for the main restaurants in the tourist area. No chains there though but unique privately owned places to eat. Before you get to the historic area along the highway, there is a pizza place. Keep going straight on the highway, past the historic area, and eventually you will run into a chinese buffet, McDonalds, and mexican restaurant on the right. Keep going past WalMart and you will run into Culvers with another family restaurant right behind it. There is also a main chain hotel here.
