The Cloran Mansion was actually recommended to us by our daughter and son-in-law.
They spent their 15th wedding anniversary at the mansion. They raved about Cheryl, Carmine, the wonderful breakfast they had and Antonio's Cottage.
Thought we would try it last week for my husband's...More

My husband, myself, and our 2-year old daughter stayed at Cloran's condo (which was located about 10 minutes from the bed&breakfast) when we got married at the house on a Saturday afternoon. I am a frequent guest at The Cloran and I wanted to add to this post. This is a mansion built in the late 1800's in the country. Unfortunately that means that there is a risk for wildlife regardless of the preventions the owners take and the beauty of the location is that it is not contemporary but more like home. A great deal of bed and breakfasts don't even offer TV and DVD players in room and instead have a shared common room. The Cloran has nice LED TV's in each room with an extensive DVD library to borrow from. If you are not comfortable with the unique and intimate setting of a B&B I could see how this wouldn't be your thing and a hotel is more your preference. But don't bash the place.
