Detailed Reviews
We stayed for a week from 25/6, in a superior room with a balcony, with views over the pool and the distant mountains. The hotel is well maintained, rooms very clean and with good storage space. The hotel is set back slightly from the sea-front, in a quiet location yet within a few minutes walk of the promenade and beach.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly, from those in the restaurant to the cleaning staff and especially on the front desk, I would particularly thank Catarina for being very helpful and providing directions for a few hikes, every member of staff on the front desk is willing to help and seemed to be multi-lingual (English, German, Spanish and more).
We also recommend the hotel restaurant, Airecel, for evening meals; it was only offering a set menu (3 courses €30 with a choice of 2 or3 items per course) but the food was superb, probably the best we had during our week in Port de Soller and very competitively priced; they happily adapted the meals for a gluten-free dietary requirement; try the white Rioja.
We would certainly stay at Aimia Hotel again when visiting Majorca and happily recommend it.
A few other good restaurants in Port De Soller wwere Espiritu Libre, Roma (very close to the hotel) and El Sabor. If you like craft beer try bottles of the local Sullerica brewery beers from the supermarkets and bars, and if you go into Soller then go to Sullerica Bar & Beers where they have 8 craft beers on tap (and good food).

Dear Baxi, Many thanks for your recent visit to the Aimia Hotel and for sharing your opinion with the Tripadvisor Community. As you comment on your review the location of the Aimia is ideal, close to all the town facilities, but slightly off the front line in a relaxed atmosphere. We are delighted to hear your comments about our staff who always go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We will extend your feedback to all of them, especially Catarina and the rest of the front office team. As you indicate at the Aimia and specifically in our Airecel Restaurant, we love to meet the dietary needs of our guests. We are more than happy that you enjoyed our daily menu prepared with the freshest products on the market. Thank you very much for recommending the Aimia Hotel and Airecel Restaurant to other travellers. It will be a real honor to welcome you back at the Aimia Hotel when you visit Mallorca again. With best regards Tolo Crespi Aimia Hotel

From start to finish this was the perfect trip to the Aimia. The staff are the hotel's real asset - friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. There is no difficulty communicating in English and any questions are answered promptly and with a smile. We have stayed at the hotel many times before the pandemic got in the way and were quite emotional to think we could finally return, we were greeted with a 'welcome home' from J which made us feel very special. We ate in the hotel on one evening but if the restaurant had a view of the sea we would happily eat there every night, the food is delicious and at 30 euros for three courses good value for money. The pool area is not huge but there are plenty of sunloungers and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are umbrellas for shade and a good selection of drinks from the poolside bar to enjoy throughout the day.
The house keeping team work hard to keep everything clean and well maintained. The pool area is well maintained too. We would recommend a room on a high floor ( there are 4 floors) so you can make the most of the view across the bay. Lower rooms and mountain facing rooms do miss out on this but with the beach only a few steps away you will be able to enjoy the sea front in just a few minutes. Breakfast is lovely with cooked and continental options. There's a wide range of fruit and juices. The tea and coffee machine is fine and if you are in the mood for some day drinking you can have a glass of cava. It was our anniversary while we were there and staff came to our table at breakfast with a glass of cava. The resort has lots of great places to eat and there are lovely boutiques. If you find you have forgotten any toiletries there are shops nearby for shampoo, suntan lotion etc and a pharmacy for more medical needs. At the moment ( June 2022) masks are required on buses, in taxis and in pharmacies. Port de Soller is a short bus or famous little train ride away but you can also walk - approx 30 minutes.
This isn't a resort for nightlife but for people who want to be active there are plenty of options - cycle hire, diving, hill walking and the beach front provides an ideal run route.

Dear Caro I, Thank you very much for your recent visit to the Aimia Hotel, for your loyalty and for this wonderful review on Tripadvisor. We are very proud that you simply feel at home in our hotel. As you say the friendliness of our staff and the personalized customer service is one of the features that most distinguishes us. For many years now, the older staff at the Aimia have tried to pass on this philosophy to the younger staff who have joined us. No less important for us is cleanliness, which, as you can see, is as evident in the rooms as it is in the common areas. Indeed, it is very comforting when this does not go unnoticed by the guests. I will certainly pass on your comments to the housekeeping head who will be pleased to hear your motivating words. Nice words dedicated to our breakfast buffet that our kitchen team prepares every morning with love, using the freshest quality products from the market. We hope you enjoyed the fresh orange juice made with the popular Sóller oranges. Many thanks again for your loyalty which we hope to maintain on your next visit in the near future. With best regards Tolo Crespi Aimia Hotel

Nice, tranquil and tastefully presented hotel in an ideal location. Our superior room was comfortable with good quality bedding, towels robes and bath products. A good standard of accommodation finished off by a large double ended bath and a great shower cubicle.
Housekeeping was carried out to a very high standard daily and cleanliness couldn't be faulted.
Breakfast was well presented with top quality produce catering for most UK and European tastes and preferences.
My wife had a spa treatment and was impressed by the product and the lady who carried it out. The gym though small was well maintained, clean and tidy.
Both indoor and outside pools appeared clean and well kept although we didn't have the chance to use either due to all the lovely day long walks available from here.
Given the myriad of sea-view restaurants in Port Soller we only et in on our last night but the food was very well presented in cordon bleu fashion, tasted delicious and was equally as good as that found in a top restaurant or hotel.
The staff, second to none, were the heartbeat of the hotel and all were extremely friendly, gracious and genuinely eager to help. Thanks to all for a lovely stay!
The only slight issue we had, and the reason I only give a four and not five rating, is that the hotel only has central air conditioning and not individual room AC in the truest sense. We stayed in early April and the weather warmed up considerably but the central air was still set for winter heat therefor we couldn't get the room temperature below 23c at night, which for me is far to balmy for a restful sleep.
The staff did source us a fan which helped a little but it was still not ideal.
That said we are hoping to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Aimia.

Dear Wgbcab, Thank you very much for your recent visit to the Aimia Hotel and for your excellent review on Tripadvisor. We are delighted that you were so comfortable in your Superior Double room and that all the room facilities were to your full satisfaction, as well as the cleanliness which as you have seen is spotless, both in the room and in the rest of the hotel including the outdoor pool and wellness area. As you explain, the location of the Aimia Hotel is ideal, just a stone's throw from the seafront, close to a large number of good restaurants and all the town facilities. We are delighted to read that you found our staff friendly and helpful. We will certainly pass on your comments to the whole team who will feel most gratified by your motivating words. We regret that we were not able to satisfy your wish to use the air conditioning in summer mode. As we explained to you, the rooms at the back of the hotel are a little cooler and at this time of the year the guests who occupy them often require hot air. On the other hand, it is also worth noting that the average temperature has risen above normal during the first half of April, which has caught us by surprise. However, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We hope it is not too long before we have the privilege of welcoming you back again. Kind Regards, Tolo Crespi Hotel Manager

Don’t be fooled
The hotel promotes a picture of peace and calm - basically an adults only hotel. Regardless, there are lots of children of all ages in the hotel.
Most of the rooms faces an apartment building at the back, and only a fraction of the 15 rooms with an alleged sea view has it.
The hotel is mainly catering for british guests. When we arrived the UK hadn’t opened for travels yet and the hotel was close to being as advertised. Calm and adults only. Then the brits arrived and we quickly realized we weren’t returning to this hotel in the future.
On a COVID note: the staff fails to oversee that face masks are worn correctly. Wearing a mask over your chin to the buffet doesn’t prevent anything.

Dear TravelAndTell2014, Thank you very much for your recent visit to the Aimia Hotel and for taking the time to share your review on Tripadvisor. We regret to learn that the we did not match your expectations as we do for most of our visitors. Please let me say that we have never tried to fool anyone here at the Aimia hotel, we never mentioned anywhere to be an adults only hotel and simply because we are not. There are some options available for Adults only in our area but in our case, we always welcomed families with children and we are not planning to change this. However there are periods of the year where we have more couples or singles and periods when we have more families with children like in July - August, due to the school holidays. As you mention, not all rooms have sea views (Superior rooms with side sea view), so we have different room categories depending on size and views. It is true, that you can see some neighbouring buildings from some of the rooms, but you can also see nice views of the mountains further away. Regarding your comments about Covid cautions, we wish to say that each member of our staff has been given a copy of the anti-Covid protocol to follow and our management team is constantly supervising the correct application of the protocol. We also have a section on our website explaining the protocols for guests during their stay. We understand, that some clients relax and may forget to wear the mask inside when coming from the pool area, whilst our staff try to ensure that guests follow all the rules, we understand that in some case we may have overlooked some situation and we sincerely apologise for that. we will definitely remind all our team the importance to keep remembering our guests about the Covid rules. Lastly at the Aimia Hotel all nationalities are welcome, in fact if you visit our website and social networks, you will see that we put a great effort in translating all the content in 4 languages (Spanish, English, German and French). The same happens for all the materials in the hotel such as restaurant or drinks menus. It is true that depending of the period of the year we might receive more guests from United Kingdom, while in other periods we might get more from Germany as it usually happen in March, April, September or October, We invite you to visit us again during these months to see it by yourself. We sincerely thank you again for your feedback, from which we are sure we will learn some lessons to improve our guests' experience in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Aimia Hotel in the near future. Yours sincerely Flavio Mirabella Aimia Hotel

Spent weekend here
On arrival we had booked a standard room which we found small on entry so we upgraded to a superior double which was a lot better both balcony and view on 4 th floor.
Room was nice, clean, comfortable but needed a bit of updating and bed could be a little more comfortable.
Staff were excellent all round most helpful, friendly and very professional.
Only food that we had was breakfast with a good choice and good quality.
Pool area had plenty of beds getting sun all day and the pool was a nice size.
There is free private off street parking which is a bonus.
Location literally set back from beach front and a 1 minute walk to the beach and bars/restaurants which are in a tranquil horseshoe harbour setting.
Good for getting tram to Soller which is well worth the 14 euro return.
A great place to stay and a good hotel which we would recommend without a doubt

Dear Albert883, Thank you very much for your recent visit to the Aimia Hotel and for taking the time to post your review on Tripadvisor. As you say, it is worth booking a Superior Double or Superior Side Sea View room for a small difference to enjoy the large balcony and wonderful views. We take note of your suggestions regarding the room, and will take them into account for future improvements. We are glad that our buffet breakfast made with fresh local products was to your liking. It is indeed a great advantage to have a parking lot for our guests near the hotel, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to find parking on the street. We look forward to being able to welcome you back very soon here at the Aimia Hotel. With warmest regards Tolo Crespi Aimia Hotel

Even at the height of high season in August this hotel was very calm and not overcrowded (for example at the pool). The staff is so kind and helpful. In particular, Catarina went way out of her way to give us tons of advice on not only spots around Mallorca but also for her home town of Porto which was our next destination. Miguel also went above and beyond to find a way to book our stay despite there not being one single room available for all of the dates we needed. We will definitely be back!

I returned to this hotel in these changing times during the "window" open to us.
We had a fabulous time. Excellent adherence to covid-19 policies. Plenty of room by the pool and at breakfast.
The staff here are professional and friendly. Really enjoyed the Cava Sangria poolside- thank you Jazmina. Fabulous last night meal. The evening menu is really worth a try, the quality and value is exceptional.
Special thanks to Salvador at reception for helping two damsels in distress but overall our thanks go to all of you who are working so hard to keep everyone safe and ensuring that all your clients have a great holiday. We understand the difficulties you are experiencing and hope that things improve for you all very soon.

I stayed here for the first few days after reopening in July 2020 and I could not fault a single thing. The hotel is just off the beach and the rooms on the 4th floor have an amazing view over the bay and the mountains. The staff are absolutely INCREDIBLE: so friendly, professional and lovely. Very rare to find such good staff! The food at lunch and at dinner is outstanding, snacks for by the pool and then some amazing dinner dishes. The room was big and bright and very clean. And the COVID measures are excellent: the hotel is spotlessly clean, there is hand sanitiser everywhere, the staff disinfect the sunbeds and tables after each use, etc. I will definitely be back very soon. Thank you to everyone!

Dear Peter H., Thank you very much for your recent visit to the Aimia Hotel and for this wonderful review. As you mention, it is well worth the effort to book a room with sea view for a small supplement, and enjoy so the beautiful views of the bay from the large balcony. We are happy to read your opinion about our staff, which you found professional and helpful. Great comments about our Airecel Restaurant, we are glad, that you enjoyed the dishes prepared by our chef de cuisine Lucas Carrusca and his team. In fact, we have taken very seriously the prevention measures for the Covid-19, thinking not only about the health of our clients, but also of our own employees. Hotel staff really are the best, stayed July/August and was a tad too hot, otherwise everything at the hotel is great. Had a room on the second floor, good size, comfortable bed, very clean, towels replaced daily, pool towels given daily as well. The air conditioning worked very well and stayed on even when not in the room so was nice and refreshing after sunning by the pool.Pool area is pleasant with enough beds and shade if required,if being a bit picky its getting a little bit tired but nothing to worry about really.Waitress staff around the pool area and prices at bar for drinks/lunch are reasonable. All staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful and deserve a special mention. Position of hotel is really good, just off the promenade within easy walking of everything. There was a cycling family staying and looked like the hotel had storage for their bikes with the island being so good to cycle.Restaurants to visit are Kingfisher if a tad overpriced, Randemar, Agapanto Flor Del Amor is a must which has fantastic views ,but the best for everything is Sa Figuera absolutely stunning and great value and atmosphere.Plenty of other places to eat but I would recommend booking even before arrival so not to be dissappointed. The resort is great and valldemossa is well worth a trip out. Would recommend this Hotel and this was our second vacation here, maybe a tad later in the year if we return again.

Smart, modern and very well run hotel. Superbly positioned only 50 metres from the seafront, meaning we really enjoyed the added benefit of a superior double room with a side-on sea view.
Outstanding customer service everywhere throughout the hotel - friendly and helpful, delivered when necessary in fluent English.
We were on B&B terms but fortunately chose to eat two excellent dinners in the hotel restaurant which given the quality of the food, wine and service represented great value for money.
It’s easy to see why this hotel is rated so highly on Trip Advisor. It would be our top recommendation to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful resort, built around a scenic bay overlooked by the Tramontana mountain range.

You can go on their website and do a live chat. Someone is normally online or if not leave a message and they will get back to you. Very very helpful staff. The standard rooms are nice apart from the end of the corridor rooms which only have a tiny balcony. All rooms have a nice view, not necessarily seaview.
Hi, we visited for 2 weeks in June this year, our Aircon stopped working one afternoon when the temp. was around 29C. we contacted reception and it was fixed very quickly.
It was waitress service with smart napkins- usually outside. The a la carte menu was good but they seemed to discourage us from having it. The set menu was changed every night with a choice of two for each course. There was a flexible half board offer - eat there four times and get a discount but after trying twice we decided to avoid it. There are some fantastic restaurants within a 5 minutes walk and some of them were cheaper.
