This was our fifth visit to Mirihi. The island is beautiful, the food amazing and the service good, though less personal for us this time. The hotel was sold (twice) last year, General Manager Guenther has left and has not been replaced and this does show in small ways. The

Dear jenjen, We thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent stay at Mirihi. We are delighted to hear that you again enjoyed the excellent service and huge culinary variety the kitchen team around our Executive Chef Felix prepares and are happy that we could provide delicious gluten free alternatives for you. We will pass your comment on to the team with pleasure. Visiting us early in the manta season, it is so great to read that you as well enjoyed your diving experience with these precious animals and our team from OceanPro. At the same time we are truly saddened to learn that we missed out on the opportunity to provide you with more information about the two public whale shark seeker excursions which were successfully conducted on our beautiful yacht Mirihi Thari during your vacation and would have loved you to share this experience as well. We would like to ensure you that like in the past years, the whole Mirihi team is striving for very personal, unintrusive guest service which allows our guests to spend a relaxed holiday with enough personal space and privacy on our little island. We appreciate to learn about your preference of conversation during dinner time and thank you very much for sharing this with us. All the team, including our lounge hostess, will be very happy to welcome you back again next December for your 06th visit in our little island paradise. Warm and sunny regards from Mirihi, Antje Schoenborn Guest Relations Manager

The island is small, but has everything you need for a luxurious, peaceful, relaxing holiday. The over water villa accommodation was spacious, very well appointed and serviced twice a day. The reef is full of an amazing variety of fish and we saw turtles as well as manta rays

Mirihi is a perfect hybrid of casual and elegant. The lobby and restaurant and grounds are paved with silky sand and barefoot is the norm. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is top-notch, and beautifully presented. We rented over-water villa 26, with outstanding

We stayed in villa 27, which was great for snorkelling off the deck. something a bit different was that we asked them to put the bed on the deck, and slept outside under the stars with the water rolling underneath. that was pretty special. its a special place

Marriage ceremonies are not legally recognised in the Maldives although you can have a wedding vows ceremony and a honeymoon package according to budget. Most people have a legally binding marriage in their own country then have a vows and/or honeymoon package. You need to contact the resort direct for this. ....AG

Hi, we have been to Mirihi four times and are booked again for December. It is a wonderful island with fantastic snorkelling, brilliant diving and absolutely delicious food. The chefs Felix, Fernando and their team are magicians. However, the drinks are extremely expensive and the price you quote is probably about correct. They even charge for bottled water at meals which is a bugbear of mine. I know desalination is extremely expensive, but I'd rather they added a little to the cost of the holiday than charge for a basic need to stay alive! As we are divers, we don't tend to drink much alcohol, so we aren't really bothered by the cost of the drinks. We do go to the deck at Muraka restaurant and have a cocktail at sunset - spectacular and well worth the money in my opinion, but as we are going back for a fifth time you can tell that we love it there.

Dear Absolutelysirod, Greetings from Mirihi Island Resort – as unique as you! We would be more than pleased to welcome you at the resort in December. We will be pleased to arrange your transfers from/to Velana International Airport. Arrival transfer by seaplane, 30 minutes directly to Mirihi, on the same day is guaranteed for any flight that arrive to Male between 06:00 and 15:15 ($470 per person and round-trip). Alternatively, the domestic aircrafts fly additionally at nighttime which might be an option if your flight arrives after 15:15. The domestic airline transfer is $390 per person and round-trip, always from Male to the domestic airport Maamigili (20 minutes flight) and from there by speed-boat (30-45 minutes) to Mirihi and the same way back. We will arrange your seaplane transfers in accordance of the given flight details. We gently await your feedback! With kind regards, Madlen Front Office Manager
