I am a frequent camper. This campground is very over priced for what you get. Almost 200 for 2 night stay. I got very little sleep because quiet time is non existent and not enforced. People were loud and partying at the permanent sites until 1:30 am on Friday and after midnight on Saturday. My children were woke up numerous...

We pulled in with a 38 ft fifth wheel and were told the E sites had 50 amp elec, and water. Nice pull throughs but no sewer hook up. Since it was almost 90 and humid, we were ok as long as the a/c could run. I don't know if the two young girls really know the park or not,...

The camp ground is great for family fun. Lots of activities for the family. Swimming, paddle boat, put put, tennis court, volleyball, and basketball. The main women's bathroom smells terrible and could use a great cleaning. And the rates are really high compared to everywhere else we have camped. Especially for being in the middle of nowhere.

I am conflicted writing this review. On the one hand, it could be a nice campground. The outdoor pool is beautiful. But it is extremely expensive and most of the sites are tiny and close together. We had a decent site in a newer section but what ruined the experience for us was all the golf cart traffic going past...

The Fly count was horrible. And they bite.. can't enjoy outside due to Flys, maybe the chicken business attracts the flies the smell is truly something else.. the only thing nice was the concrete parking and the level spots...

First off I'll say that SLR is a little pricier than other campgrounds that are out in the middle of nowhere and nowhere near any major attractions. Several small fees drive the base price up quickly (like base price only includes 2 people). However, the grounds are very well kept and most of the extras like paddle boat and canoes...

My family and i rent the cabins that are over 100 dollars a night. We were so excited to participate in the Halloween site decorating contest and spent over 300 dollars in decor and won! When we turned in our free night coupon for winning they said sorry it's only for regular sites and not cabins. No solution or kindness...

Big campground and a bit pricey but we were willing to pay it to enjoy the pool which looked beautiful in the pictures. However the pool was not heated and was way to cold to swim and the weather was perfect to swim, so our children were very disappointed. The tiki bar wasn't open. The sites were very tight together....

We were looking for a campground to take our travel trailer to for the Memorial Day weekend that had activities for kids. While the price was little steep, the staff was warm, the facilities excellent with every amenity imaginable. The site were a bit close together with no privacy, but thats the norm in big rv parks. Our 7 year...

“I would try to stay pass the club house or you will have all of the main traffic going by your site all of the time, unless you are by the lakefront sites section E. We had campsite 155 and it was good but had little to no shade I would have like 154 or 153 which had better shade. If you are looking for lakeside campsites. Electric with 50amp service from the 80's to the 90 are good sites with lots of shade”
