Nice, recently modernised cottages with plenty of space. The park itself is beautiful and is covered by trees. The main plaza features 4 bowling lanes and an indoor playground. Outside there's a lake with a small beach and playgrounds.
Main drawbacks are the swimming pool (not much fun) and the dented beds (maybe it would be good to have that checked every now and then)

We booked a 7 night holiday in late August and glad we did the weather has been the hottest week of the year. We took the overnight ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland.

Landal T'loo is a great park situated in the centre of the Netherlands close to almost everywhere. The park is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. We booked a 4 berth Luxury villa so we got a lakeside plot, the kids love the lake and its clean enough to swim in. The villa had all we needed including a sauna and solarium. We only used the park pool once as we spent a lot of the days out and about returning early evening giving the kids chance to play by the lake, there is sand so very much has a beach vibe.

We visited Elberg, Venlo, Zwolle and Lelystad in the Netherlands and crossed the border into Germany to visit some old stomping grounds from my military days. Also spend a day at the Theme park (Walabi) which was fantastic.

Driving in the Netherlands is pretty straight forward and the only issue I found was the total free for all entering motorways was from a slip road.

We will definitely visit another Landal Park next year, not this one as we like to try different things each year, however this park has it all.

Only downside and it's not really a moan as we are in the Netherlands, the kids entertainment is all in Dutch so they could really take part, but you can't expect them to cater for one or two British family's in the middle of hundreds of Dutch.

The food in the restaurant was really good and a good sized portions also in the snack bar, prices are a little steep but thats the falling pound.

In summary, it's a great place and I would recommend it for a family with any aged kids (mine are 4 and 13). Try and learn a little Dutch, it may help but in general the Dutch can understand you even if the still carry on talking to you in their native tongue.

Next time we will save some money by getting a Calais ferry and drive through France & Belgium, it was an experiance for the kids but unnecessary.

Stayed here for a week in July in a three bedroomchalet and had a great time, well worth the journey from the UK. Park was nicely laid out and car free. I didn't mind the fact you could not park at the chalet as they allowed you take the car to your accommodation to load and unload on the days you check in and out. Cannot comment on the food in the restaurant or take away as we did not use them but we did have a drink in the bar and found the table service to be slow and they discouraged service at the bar. Reception staff were excellent and the on site shop was well stocked and not overly expensive.

The playground, indoor playroom and pool are probably more suited towards smaller children, probably ten and under, and there is not much going on for older kid. Lots of people were swimming in the lake but we didn't venture in.The Wi-Fi worked well in our accommodation although we had to pay for it. Lots to do in area, particularly liked trip to Giethoorn, Apenheul and Hoge Veluwe.

Chalet had been modernised and was very nice, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen comprised of four ring gas hob, large fridge with small freezer box and a dishwasher. There is no oven or grill but we knew this and brought our own toaster. You will find a small pack for the kitchen but you will need to bring tea towels and additional washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. If you buy a towel pack you will only get one bath towel and one hand towel which is not really sufficient for a week. If possible I would suggest bringing your own towels or you will need to visit the laundrette. Patio area was sufficient and you are allowed barbeques. TV had a few English channels.

Our chalet was on the quiet side of the park and the only noise to wake up was an owl in the tree outside our bedroom on a few occasions. I would consider returning but would only do so if we could book similar accommodation again as the chalets on the other side of the park were blighted by road noise and this was certainly sufficient to have spoilt my holiday.

All in all a great holiday in a lovely park at a very good price compared to what you would expect to pay for similar in the UK.

We booked an 8-person stand-alone bungalow on this park for Christmas. The accommodation, although clean, does not support 8 grown-ups, it is way too small. Even with 5 adults and 3 children, it was too small.
The park is car-free, but this is badly enforced, meaning there is car traffic all day and people park their car in front of their bungalow.
Extra services are ridiculously expensive. The wifi access is EUR 17.50 *per person*. When we tried to get it, they informed us that if you do not book this at the original booking, they charge EUR 20! This speaks volumes on the park's attitude towards hospitality.
The park does run daily activities for children, which is in fact the only positive in this. It is situated right off the main highway. Noise in the park is limited but the cleanliness of the air is doubtful.
In short: do not stay here, there are other options closer by that are much better value for money.

We took our children and grand children for a week vacation in The Netherlands.
Stayed in Bungalow #7 which was ideally located near most of the attractions and the central building.
We have purchased the "Comfort" package which was OK.
On the "Pro" side:
The bungalow is well equipped. Large area for outdoor dinning and playing.
The place is just wonderful with day long activities to the children.
Good location for attractions.
Visit the "Castel" (Knight) restaurant the kids will love dressing up and playing.

On the Con side:
A bit far away from Efteling (1.5 Hr.) and Amsterdam.
Caught a rainy week...

I definitely recommend for families with children !

We stayed at Landal Landgoed 't Loo for a week on August 2014. We were two families with a total of six children. The place is something out of a fairy-tail. Just green and clean and perfect. The vacation units are large, roomy, with everything you could hope for including games for the kids and all the necessities. There's not a single bad thing in this place. It's perfect. The park shop offers fresh bread and rolls in the morning and the freshly squeezed orange juice is a must. If there was a rating better than excellent - I'd give it to Landal Landgoed 't Loo.

When booking at Landal, you get what you see. There is nothing misleading about their advertisement, and if you have visited one park, you usually know the standard which to expect; which is not a poor one.
Thus, I won't repeat on the look of the house, or the equipment given, but only to the specialties of the park.
I have visited a second time by now. First time with two families in a family-house for six, now with eight tabletop-players in a house for eight.

The service was first class. We made a very unusual request on our second day (can we please have a second big table so our boards and playing pieces can be put on it more comfortable) and within an hour a small van delivered it.
The pool is quite nice. One of the better when it comes to Landal parks, it even included a canal with a current.
What is really worthwhile (especially with kids, even if they don't speak Dutch) is the Medieval dinner at the main building. I recommend it.

A huge holiday resort ideal for nature lovers and families with children.
It has everything.
Indoor pool, lake, restaurant, super market, bicycle rental, bowling and computer games and many other activities.
Located in a very quiet area, about an hour's drive from Amsterdam to the northeast.
The apartments are huge, neat and clean.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, two showers and a few bedrooms, depending on the size of the apartment you order.
Highly recommend taking an apartment close to the lake, pool and supermarket.
Access to the resort village from the highway is a bit complicated...!!!
Do not look for something open In the evening hours at the surrounding area, everything closes at a relatively early hour (5 PM)
All in all, we had a great time.
If you are a family with children, this is a place to consider.
Great value for money
Full enjoyment for children

We stayed in a 6 persons house with young children and 4 grownups.

The welcome at the park was very friendly, the park is car free but you can drive to your house when arriving. The car park has no concrete pavement but is fine. The house is clean with sufficient rooms, a small but sufficient kitchen, two bathrooms with one toilet in the bathroom (upstairs) and one separate toilet downstairs. All bedrooms (1 double downstairs, 2 doubles upstairs) offer small closets. The room downstairs has a small vault inside but it did not work during our weekend. The most beautiful item of the house: it has a build in chimney which is sooo nice in a holiday home!!!

The park is very quiet and offers great fun for young and old. The main centre of the park offers a supermarket (with all necessary groceries), a bowling alley (4 tracks), a game room, an indoor playground for small children, a restaurant, a small shop and a very very small swimming pool. That is a downside of the park: the indoor pool is really small!

The outdoor centre offers a large nature swimming pool, several climbing buildings, water bikes and a raft to cross the water.

Conclusion: a very nice park.... the price is right!

Tips...bring your own:
- toilet paper
- dishwasher soap (you get 3 pieces for a weekend)
- wastebin bags
- extra small knifes (there is 1 in the room)
- towels
- handsoap
- wood for the chimney (also available in the supermarket)
- umbrella in case of rain
-bag for groceries (the shop let's you buy them... )
- small candles (theelichtjes in Dutch) for decoration in the room (the holders are available)
- small bicycles if you like
- your own groceries of course ;)

I wish you a nice holiday!

Hi, The site is great, my 14 year old loved it (swimming, bowling) the lake has a real beach feel. My 4 year old had great fun too. The Walabi theme park is fantastic Enjoy, we are going again this year however to a different park (just because we want to see another part of the Netherlands).

It takes around an hour and 20 minutes to get here. We downloaded a sat nav app to my phone and it found it no problem. It's actually a lovely drive for most of the way through the Veluwe forest.
