When we arrived we had tea coffee milk and a bottle of wine the lodge was lovely I broke the blind and someone was there within 5 mins to fix it the hottub was lovely the only thing I would say its not under cover which in October can be a problem but we got lucky with the weather mostly its very quiet and you need a car to get anywhere but if you want a few days to relax and forget everything else I would totally recommend we enjoyed our time there

I do not leave bad reviews unless absolutely necessary, but the customer service, or lack thereof, at Strawberry Fields and Booking.com has been abysmal. I really needed a relaxing, peaceful break. I had a stressful and very difficult few weeks/months. I was desperate to get-away. Unfortunately, the court hearing in which I was a witness was postphoned and re-scheduled for the week I was supposed to be away. I had no choice but to cancel. I was upset and disapointed. I contacted Booking.com and Strawberry fields - they were so incredibly unhelpful and inflexible. I would go as far as to say they were rude and deliberately obstinate. I requested to change the booking for an alternative date, but they would not even allow that. I felt that it was inflexible and uncompromising. Eventually, I reluctantly agreed to a cancellation at a 75% LOSS to me. I paid £675 - the refund was £157.00 - but what choice did i have ? I have sent repeated emails and messages for my refund over 4 weeks now and I STILL have not received it. I am now going to contact trading standards, my bank for a full chargeback and eventually the small claims court/money claims to get my money back. It appears that these thieves grab your money, promise a refund if you cannot honour the booking with GOOD reasons and will NOT refund. Unfortunately I did not get to experience the park - but if the customer service is anything to go by - the hot tubs will be full of sharks and phirannas. I lost almost £500.00 through no fault of my own.…

Thank you for your review, although there appears to be some confusion. None of your communication has been with Strawberryfield Park directly. As you booked through a third party company (Booking.com) - all of your communication was with them and their hosts (Luxury Coastal), not us. Terms and Conditions of any platform should be read thoroughly before booking, specifically terms of cancellation. As per your booking providers terms you would not have received any refund, the 25% was a gesture of good will. Luxury Coastal went above and beyond to remedy this for you and have released the funds. It is now down to Booking.com to ensure that you receive it. With the above in mind, we are saddened to receive such a damaging review from you as we pride ourselves on customer service and it is not a true reflection on us as a small team.

We had a nice 3 night break. The cottage is comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are well equipped and shower is powerful. It is in a good location, very close to Cheddar town just about 10 minutes drive max. The area has nice walks , we enjoyed Sand beach as it’s dog friendly

The best lodge holiday we have stayed at by far! We stayed at the peppers lodge and it was just perfect! Even with a toddler it was everything we needed! She loved her time on holiday with us! We had various days out in cheddar, Weston super mare, wookey hole and wells it was situated no more than half hours drive away which with a child was perfect! Most of all the best bit was sat in an evening in the hot tub gin in hand just relaxing, even with the cider barns live music and quiz night we barely heard them unless you were outside but inside my toddler slept through it all! Thank you for an amazing stay look forward to revisiting in the future!

The most amazing place we have stayed! Located in beautiful countryside, The Levels at Strawberryfield Park created the perfect setting for a wonderful and memorable holiday. Our accommodation was so clean, well equipped and absolutely stunning. The attention to detail with finishing touches, high quality furnishings and fittings truly made this a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Upon arrival at the accommodation there was a welcome pack along with a bottle of wine, cookies and handy toiletries. The very comfortable super king size bed enabled us to get the perfect nights sleep ready for the next day. Also, the hot tub was a perfect addition to be able to relax and enjoy quality time in a very special setting. Having read some reviews prior to our visit, the nearby county road did not interrupt the tranquility. The traffic was very minimal and it was actually lovely to witness farmers transferring their livestock a couple of times; it brought a sense of country life to the holiday. All the staff - including the owner - genuinely care about everything being just perfect. Having holidayed in many different places in the UK, it’s unlike anything we’ve experienced before, enhanced with there being great places to eat, drink and visit nearby. We especially enjoyed the Kings Head in Wells in particular. We had the most friendly welcome and the food was good value and delicious. Another great find for us was Cafe Gorge in the nearby village of Cheddar, where there is an array of sweet and savoury treats to eat in or take-away. All of this combined, made for a perfect break. We had a wonderful stay at Ochard Lodge, we walked in and literally couldn’t believe our eyes on how beautiful this lodge was. It was modern, luxurious and spotlessly clean and the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in apart from my own bed. The hot tub was also a big hit and the area at night was so pretty with the star lights and the Hot tub lit up felt so luxurious. They had everything you needed inside too, kitchen wise it had all you needed to cook a delicious meal in and the Wi-Fi to do a little work and the tv’s were second to none. Will definitely be coming back in the new year. Thankyou for taking such love and care in your wonderful lodges. The staff were lovely and just left you to enjoy ur stay. 10/10 from us.

Fourth stay in Burrington Lodge and the seventh in Strawberryfields Park. Everything as expected for a tranquil stay with lovely sunset from the terrace and relaxing hot tub. Sooo relaxing! Well done Mike, Lucy and the team for keeping the park looking so good and for the warm welcome. Apples and plums also appreciated.

Stayed in the Perry lodge last week Friday to Friday. On arrival the lodge was spotless with great facilities with high end fittings and furnishings. The information pack was not only useful but the language used was so friendly. Know the rules then go and enjoy yourselves.the hot tub was great slightly sunk into a huge decking area with a variety of patio furniture. The park was very peaceful and very well maintained and in a great location to explore the very beautiful area . Stayed at around 10 sites over the last few years none better than strawberry fields

This would of been a 5 star review but on arrival I had to ask for descaler to descale the kettle as it was disgusting also there was a broken bed Slat under the main bed. Then on the second day one of the sun loungers was unsafe to use. The location/park is lovely and we stayed in Peppers Lodge which was nearest to the Cider Barn. We would go again but would hope that the issues we faced didn't occur again. Would like to have more outdoor lighting (security lights) as even at night/getting dark it would of been nice to sit outside.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry you were disappointed with parts of your stay. Due to being in a very hard water area it sometimes proves tricky to keep kettles completely scale free. We appreciate that this was not ideal, and ensured that we dealt with this within 5 minutes of you reporting the issue. With regards to the bed slat, this was not reported by yourself until day 2 of your holiday. We communicated with you straight away and offered for the maintenance team to take a look and fix immediately to which you declined. They looked at the lounger straight away for you. I will pass your comments referencing more outdoor lighting on to the maintenance team for review, thank you for the suggestion. We popped up to catch up with you upon departure (as we try to catch up with as many guests as we can), it is a shame you were not keen to engage in conversation as we would have appreciated being able to chat about your feedback in person. We stayed at the mulberry lodge for my parters birthday and it honestly could not have been any better. Everything from the interior decorations, to the decking and hot top, the location along with the easy access to some of the landmarks was just perfect. Everything is so private within the lodge what is amazing. And absolutely perfect get away. I paid extra for the rose petals and they had done it perfectly, not to mention the complementary bottle of Spanish wine. Thank you so much for hosting us. It was truly amazing
