Peace of Earth was a great place to spend the weekend with my daughter and her sons ages 3 & 5. We were incredibly lucky to have perfect fall weather the entire time, not too hot or cold and no mosquitoes until after dark. For the kids this was a wonderful adventure - they particularly loved the Nature's playground area...

Peace if Earth lodge is an oasis in the Midwest. Pat and Tim are wonderful hosts and obviously very proud of the home and business that they've built together. The lodge is in the woods and I loved falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets instead of traffic. The breakfasts were delicious! As a Canadian I felt like...

I recently stayed at Peace of Earth Lodge just outside of Rushville Illinois, an easy one hour drive from Peoria Illinois and left there feeling renewed and rejuvenated. Tim and Pat ,the owners and hosts are so friendly and made my stay feel very special. Breakfast was delicious and included homegrown ingredients and vegetarian choices. I stayed in the Cherry...

We just stayed there as part of a wedding in the area. Pat and Tim were both very inviting. Felt like we were staying the night at our parents house right at home. There are many trails and nature to be had and the breakfast was very good. Coffee was amazing as well. You could tell they really cared about...

We took a group of people, including kids over Memorial weekend. It was refreshing to take in all the fresh air, nature walks and hiking down to the spring. They prepared a wonderful breakfast for the group using organic produce from their garden. The kids loved going to the garden to help pick fresh vegetables. Tim and Pat were great...

“This is a B&B. The cabins have a secluded feeling, Restrooms are a short walk away. Lodge rooms share a bath. Don't let this deter you!”

“The tree house is the best. It is a screened in room in the forest.”

“Tree house and the cabins are all literally in the trees - also have very nice rooms in the main building where you have breakfast and watch the birds come down to the feeders.”
JWinLondon, 20 Oct 2014 | Read review
“Of course no a/c in tree house, but there is a ceiling fan. Cabins have A/C. If you need close access to a bathroom, be certain to talk about that when reserving a room. For us it was not an issue at all. Bathrooms super clean I might add.”
532peggyb, 19 Jul 2014 | Read review
“The Maple Room is right across the hall from a bathroom. There are no en-suite rooms or cabins. There are bathrooms located near the cabins. If it is warm enough, try the treehouse!”
