Flagg Farmstead B&B is an 1872 Italianate mansion 15 minutes from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and 18 miles from Lincoln's New Salem located on one of the roads Mr. Lincoln traversed on his many trips to Springfield, Illinois.

My wife and I spent a great weekend in Springfield seeing the Lincoln sights. Our stay at the Flagg Farmstead was very comfortable and relaxing. It is only 15 minutes to the downtown Lincoln sights and is much better than staying at a sterile hotel....More
We stayed at the Flagg Farmstead this weekend with some college friends from the old days. Doug and Rosalie we great hosts. Very accommodating and full over local information. I highly recommend this place.
For the beginning of our Route 66 driving trip, we chose the Flagg Farmstead for three nights so we could take in the Abraham Lincoln Museum, tomb, and home. We also drove to Hannibal to check out Mark Twain's boyhood home.

We were very happy with our overnight stay. Accommodating, friendly and inviting, Rosalie and her husband have done a nice job with the place. Great breakfast. The passes to the Lincoln Museum are an appreciated extra. The Museum staff had compliments for the them too.
