Very attractive facility! Well preserved. Cozy and comfortable throughout. Wonderful dining room. Beautiful (nothing distorted/perverted) people/owners that made us feel very welcome. Had great conversation. And...the breakfasts were...WOW! Yum, yum! Nice, 'lil sweet serene/peaceful, at night, location. Very "Lincolnesque." Very historical; made you feel the presence/sense of the history of that area of Illinois. Mr. Flagg really knows his history...

We traveled from Milwaukee where we still have only a few daffodils and crocus and a damp chilly breeze off Lake Michigan, to Central Illinois where spring was getting underway nicely. The Historic property and friendly, welcominig hosts were a perfect complement to our intended visit to the Lincoln Presidential LIbrary and Museum. We even decided to cut our tourism...

The home and rooms are beautiful and well maintained. It is located close to Springfield's main attractions, but is in a quiet, cozy setting. The service was very good, as was the morning breakfast. Nice establishment.

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at the Flagg Farmstead B & B. It is a beautiful old home set on a spacious lawn with lots of shade trees. I loved the acres of wide open field to the west - maybe much like it was when the house was built. Doug and Rosalie were very warm and...

The entire B&B was spotless and beautiful and our host and hostess were very warm and inviting. They even dropped off complimentary tickets to the Lincoln Library and Museum at the Museum so...

I had the pleasure of staying at The Flagg Farmstead for a few days in February, 2011. This is an elegantly decorated home which is in pristine condition. Our rooms, all with private bath, were spotless. Each morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast in the lovely dining room. Not only did we receive complimentary tickets to the Lincoln...

We are a couple from Barcelona, Catalonia and last September 2010 we rode the route 66 on a Harley Davidson from Chicago to Los Angeles. We spent our first night at Sherman, IL, at the Flaggs Farmstead. As foreigners, we chose this bed & breakfast as an alternative to the modern highway motels, looking for the chance to meet new...
