The is probably one of the best casa particulars in Cuba. The house is spotless. The rooms are great. The food is good. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and speak English. The only problem is its location in Santa Marta. The hotel will pay your taxi into Varadero but you have to pay to get back. Depending on...

We stayed at the wonderful Pedrito Hostal for 2 nights, after our arrival and before our departure, while cycle touring through Cuba. Alain and family were very gracious hosts. They offered wonderful breakfasts and dinners, and clean, comfortable rooms. They stored our bike boxes while we explored Cuba, and they arranged taxi service for us to the airport. We enjoyed...

Once again, I've returned to this great area for the sun & golfing. Staying at Pedrito's is the only way to go. A great family run business with my big sister Arzyelis looking after me each day. The rooms are super clean, from what I've taught Jr. Chef Dyleen, the food is even better (but still at a reasonable price),...

Stayed here for three nights during our weeklong vacation in Cuba. Santa Marta is a suburb of Varadero, pretty run down compared to Varadero, and far more authentic. I was impressed by the quality, a private locked room with nice beds and linens and a private clean washroom. The host Alain speaks English fluently and gave us good tips on...

We've just returned from a holiday to cuba. We had 3 days in havana, a week all inclusive at varadero but the highlight of our stay was the 4 nights we spent at Pedritos hostel in Santa Marta. Alain and his family were most welcoming, the house and our room were beautiful and exceptionally clean. The food served for evening...

We were very fortunate to stay at Hostal Pedrito for several days at the start of our visit to Cuba and just before heading home. Alain, his family, and staff made us feel so welcome. The casa itself has lovely sitting areas; one being an inner courtyard complete with a fish pond and an overhanging mango tree. We stayed in...

Two years ago we discovered this amazing casa on Trip Advisor. We returned with our friends in February 2015 for four nights and an additional two nights at the end of our trip in March. Once again we felt like part of the family; Alain and his team are doing a wonderful job of running this lovely hostel. It is...

Meals especially the evening meal were inexpensive and artistically presented. Very hospitable family. Met me at the bus station. Welcome drink of choice. Taxi fare given each day. Stayed for three nights.

Once again I returned to this fantastic B&B. Araceylis keeps the house, grounds and rooms spotless, while Jr. Chef Dyleen cooks up an inexpensive but delicious meal. Alain takes care of everything else including Taxi's' &, tours at the best prices as well. As usual, the house will arrange a ride to the beach at their cost., but you will...
