Relaxing few days with views over the countryside. We could see Snowdonia in the distance. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Pub adjoining was not good. Food dreadful. Would visit again.

Superb hotel lovely location and surroundings with great views - shame about the attached restaurant (Bridgewater Arms) dirty carpets and cluttered so did not try the food. Would recommend the hotel as is out of the way and quiet, ideal for relaxation.

Overall a good value overnight stay. Although it took us a while to find the site travelling from direction of Shrewsbury after a day's shopping, the receptionist Denise was very helpful with directions. dined in the adjoining restaurant which offered a good choice. Morning

Is there a lift, and can I request rooms at the rear?
I believe there are no lifts available at this location but we were given exactly the room we wanted when we stayed previously. They are very accommodating!

Hi is the attached restaurant a Thyme restaurant please thanks.
It's not a Thyme as at town central but the Whitbread pub here is very good and a lot better than Thyme
