Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First time back staying in Thanet for 30 years, and my two young sons first holiday/visit here. From book in to leaving the staff were pleasant and helpful, the site was clean, and other than the sounds of my children, and others on the site having fun, very peaceful. We stayed in one of the spacious and clean ‘gold’ mobile homes, and could not have asked for better. Its location central between Margate and Ramsgate, makes it an ideal staging point for your holiday activities . We will be returning either Easter or half term next year, and have no hesitation on booking accommodation here again. The site is a credit to Lynn and all that work there. See you in 2024.

Unless you like being recorded in the toilets I’d not stay here absolutely no improvement in the last 4 years site is run down and has nothing their expect perverts who sit in their caravan watching the visitors having showers They lie about deposits and lie about helping customers Absolutely disgusting site where the owners watch Women showering and girls of all ages The males cctv is facing the mens backs at the sink whist the women cctv camera is pointed directly down the sink line meaning as soon as you exit the shower to dry the owners have a recorded video of you naked no matter what age 🤯 I think the owners are both in on it as they seem so weird and this is obviously their kink and your expense Do not stay here a police report has been filed due to the nature of the incidents every time a female entered the changing rooms Pedos campsite that has now been identified

My friend booked 6 pods for our trip away plus camping as there was supposed to be 20 plus coming, my friend was advised about 4 weeks before that there was only 3 pods not 6 which was very disappointing for some of the elders that WERE coming bud didn’t due to everywhere being booked and not being with the group, on arriving quite late Friday afternoon we was greeted with quite nice but empty pods.. no beds! When my friend went to complain he was told it was on the website that we had to provide our own beds.. 10 mins later the security arrived with a print out high lighting the fact!! Lol “not ahh sorry you misread but we have beds you can hire” no…! No help at all! The next two hours spent driving about frantically before shops closed to find some blow ups.. not a chance!! Out of season all gone.. luckily a friend was on route purchased some for us!! I wouldn’t of stayed on a wooden floor.. One the ladies of our group also noticed that once she got out of the shower compartment in the communal shower to a dry area to get dressed that there was a cctv camera pointing directly towards her which baring in mind she was half naked at the time very which was to her very disturbing as she had seen mothers drying their children in same area earlier that day.. there is a sign saying cctv but you would of thought it would be on the entrance and not invading people privacy in a shower room.

Managers ignoring my phone and email messages to try to sort a cancellation after being devastated after our caravan got broken into and stolen. We’re heartbroken as we used our money from gifts from friends abcc do family from our wedding to pay for it!! Not happy!!!

Pitches are so close together that the mandatory 3m fire rule is arguably unsafe. Strict curfew rules on check in are not at all enforced, still idiots being loud gone midnight and staff not doing anything. Amenities tired, dirty and could do with an update. Also nowhere near anything, no pubs, no shops, no escape. Ruined an otherwise lovely visit to the South East.

Hi Rachel Sorry you did not enjoy your time with us, our location is out of our control, we do have a local pub, and Westwood Cross shopping centre is a five minute drive. If you experience noise after curfew ?, you should have called the emergency out of hours number someone would come and assist, the office phone is not manned 24 hrs Our facilities whilst being dated they are not dirty, our staff work very hard on this. Perhaps a more corporate site with more on site facilities would be more suited to your requirements kind Regards The Manston Team

We stayed in one of their static caravans .. immaculately clean, as in immaculate!! Lyn and Paul the Managers were most helpful. We took our dog, we forgot a long lead to tether her to the balcony and garden bit, they supplied one immediately, nothing was too much trouble. There are plenty of areas to walk the dog, everyone we met were very friendly .. a hidden gem we think |

I booked a couple of camping pitches for a couple of nights in June with my children and grandchildren. It is a lovely little sanctuary nestled in between Broadstairs and Ramsgate. Well kept, quiet, super clean facilities. The children loved running the field, playing in the little park and visiting the resident horses, chickens and turkeys... Loved, loved, loved our stay will definately be going back throughout the summer!

Used to come here back when I was a child so wanted to return with the new tent to trial it out. Staff very helpful on arrival and directed us to the pitch. Pitches are generous in size and water taps out on the field too. Toilets and showers clean and the hot water and the power to the water was great. Not much to do onsite but a peaceful two night stay. Had to check out quite early so felt pressured to get pack and off quick. It said no commercial vehicles however did see some parked with pitches in another field. Good location for visiting thanets lovely beaches and the nearby crazy adventure golf.
