Stayed in this hotel for 11 Days with wife from20/10/20. Check in went smooth after 11pm. Mr Antonis Antoniadis was very helpful and helped every time I askes for it. It was my 4rth stay in this hotel sincerely 2015. First time I experienced rudeness from reception next day when asked for Iron and Iron Stand. They refused to provide it because of Coronavirus. But another person in the house keeping provided it.had to go to restaurant for Tea bags as never got it in the room. After 4 days they refused to give Tea bags and said will have to pay for Tea Bags. At the time of chech out talked to the general manager me. Dimitris about it and he was very apologetic and told me to look after when we are there again next time. He also offered complimentary Dinner, thank you Mr Dimiris, complimentary. Otherwise stay was comfortable and many restaurants nearby. A public Bus is just near the hotel which takes 30 minutes to mail city senter. Taxi costs 7-10 Euros.…
I was looking for something near enough to be able to see the major sights but also be able to relax on the beach. Coral Hotel was perfectly located. Short taxi ride to the Parthenon, walking distance to the beach and local bars and restaurants nearby. My room had a sea view and was roomy, clean and tidy. The hotel service was great despite Covid and they allowed me to stay in my room on the last day until 6.00pm which was really helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.
Our room was located at the 5th floor, so we had to take the elevator to reach it. No troubles here, but one could say that the elevator is quite small and somewhat old fashioned. The room itself was spacious enough, with pleasant colours and equipped with the usual hotel room items. Fine. Nice touch are the complementary amenities in the bathroom, like shaving kit, etc. The bathroom works well, but is a bit small, shower is comfortable. The room was clean enough, not ultra clean: there was for example old dust in the air filter in the bathroom. The beds were good, not too soft. Of course this also depends on your personal preferences. Our room had a balcony, which looks out on the sea, a supernice view! Only thing is that the avenue Poseidon, at which the hotel is located, is very busy and noisy. Luckily, you'll hear a lot less of the traffic noise, when the balcoy door is closed. Overall verdict: The Coral Hotel is a good place to stay in Athens: located at the sea, so you can benefit from the nice views and the beach at your doorstep. The city's centre is easily reachable by public transport. The hotel boasts a small indoor swimming pool/jacuzzi and has a nice rooftop terrace too. Things that add to the experience of your stay. Covid measures were taken seriously by the - as said - very good staff. So overall, I would surely recommend this hotel for your trip to the Athenian Riviera. And be sure to have at least one dinner at the hotel's restaurant, you won't regret it. …
I've just returned from a nine day stay at The Coral in Athens. Managers, concierge and staff were unbelievably welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend it highly enough for value for money and just being pleasant place to stay! Breakfast overlooking the sea is particularly pleasant and it's location is great for beach, local restaurants and shops.
Majestic view from the 7th floor to the Aegean sea, excellent food selection, amazing and very friendly staff. Very professional services and situated at the utmost convenient location as its near the city center of Athens and the southern suburbs.
