We stayed three nights in the Chateau de Beugnon, and would thoroughly recommend it. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very spacious. The whole place is very charming, with horses, peacocks and swans; large grounds with a lake. Jean-Yves provided us with some wonderful meals, Nicole was most welcoming, and spoke excellent English. A lovely place.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It was fantastic! Nicole and Jean-Yves were so warm and welcoming. They were always making sure our needs were met. We had dinner with them the first night and the 7 course meal with wine and champagne was the most memorable meal we had during our entire 2 week vacation! Each...

We booked the hotel and requested dinner. When we got there the only person on site was not part of the staff. When the owners returned we were told that we could not have dinner as there was a 'family event' using the dining room and public spaces. We suggested moving to another hotel and the lady owner became angry...

We loved this place.I wanted to stay for another week. We were three generations, all adults ranging in age from 25 to 85 and had the entire upstairs area. The Chateau is in the middle of vineyards. Has relaxing sitting areas in the lawn near the small pond. Has peacocks (yes one tries to peck his reflection in the car...

We thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the house and grounds. The owners were very helpful with excursion suggestions and the food was exceptional and therefore particularly good value. They were particularly proud of their home produced wines but we felt these were perhaps an acquired taste and better drunk with food. But, as they were inclusive one could hardly complain!...

This maison is run by formidable hosts Jean-Yves and Nicole who used to own a restaurant in Paris. Jean-Yves is a wonderful chef who uses exclusively locally-sourced or home-grown produce and creates the most delightful menus, including the finest French specialties. We were treated to home-made foie gras and boudin blanc, wine-tasting of the local producers' organic wines, and taken...

What an amazing find... thank you tripadvisor! We absolutely loved our stay at Chateau du Beugnon. The stars of the show are your hosts Nicole and Jean-Yves who are beyond hospitable. We had a memorable evening which started with wine tasting in the cellar- trying a variety of their organic wines- accompanied by delicious nibbles, followed by a traditional 5...

We stayed at Chateau du Beugnon and had dinner, bed and breakfast. The Chateau is very nice and the rooms are large, extremely clean and well designed. The dinner is absolutely superb with home made food from the garden and unlimited supply of organic wine from the ownner. The owner is very entertaining (who is also the cook) and finished...
