I loved everything about my stay. The rooms, the view, the gardens. Must be 1 of my favourite places to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Loads of space for kids to play I will go back in a heartbeat.

I will definitely stay at Travalia again and enjoyed the breakfast. The room was as per website with all the luxuries. Location was great for continuing with my journey the next day. I liked the farmstall.

After a long trip from Johannesburg, the reception was so welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and luxurious. It was everything we could asked for after a tiring day. The room was quite and the beds comfortable for a good nights sleep. After our arrival there was a chance to walk on the farm. It is a beautiful area with typical Karoo atmosphere.

We stayed in the family room because the smaller rooms were all booked , but it was great we had a private fence around our property that helped keep my dog safe so that she could run free and play without getting lost !

We decided to stay over on on trip home and found that some units have been upgraded (e.g. build-in braais on stoep, new fridge room if you need to store more meat etc overnight). Contact, booking-in, stay of the highest quality! Lady at reception (Karlie) also very friendly and helpful (e.g. no braaitongs and she promptly supplied one for braai). The farmstall also a treat (not always the cheapest, but wide selection of items, including Karoo lamb.

While travelling from Somerset West to Travlia, we had a lot of road works with a lot of time being spent in long queues. I tried my best to keep Travalia updated regarding our ETA, as it would effect our meal and other arrangements. The ladies who worked at reception were very helpful and good in keeping us up-to-date with all the arrangements they were going to make to make our whole trip less stressful. Thanks

this place is absolutely lovely, it is animal friendly, the rooms are very spacious and well appointed. the bath is amazing. food at the restuarant is delicious and big portions. the "padstal" is so weel stocked with karoo lamb and preserves, it is a must do.
