Came here in a group of 20. I think they struggled to get all the food out quickly enough. But most people quite enjoyed their large meal. It's nothing too fancy, but they certainly are making a good effort. Recommend, make the trip out to dookie

Went here for drink while visiting friends in shepperton. Great little pub. Pool table outside under cover. The barman was friendly. The photos on the walls are terrific. The beer was cold which is always a big plus.

Popped in to have a beer once we finished the secondhand store next door. We were too late for lunch but the special menu displayed looked ok. The manager and son were very friendly and the place had a nice feel. Very Australian pub.

We visited the Gladstone Hotel for Sunday lunch recently. It is a real country pub but it has a great atmosphere. The food was good country cooking slanted for the winter, there was the usual basics but some other dishes out of the ordinary. Our meals were just delicious and both the food and wine was not too hard on...

We love dookie. Everything about dookie is amazing. You have walks a relaxed pub. Alternative shopping. A terrific winery. The pub has accommodation and affordable yummy meals. Highly recommend the veggie stack. There is not a huge selection on the menu but being a smaller establishment this is s practical solution and there is something for everyone on the menu....

Iconic little country pub. Great atmosphere, good wine list including local wines, delish pub grub and some of the best wood fired pizzas. Buzzing with locals on a Friday night - best to book a table.

This place is a MUST DO before you even contemplate making your "Bucket List". We have been to the Dookie Pub many times and it is worth the drive. Nev and Judy are your hosts and the atmosphere of this beautiful old hotel is fantastic. The log fires make it a warm and inviting place to visit and meet new...

Last Sunday, we had lunch at the Dookie Pub - The Gladstone Hotel with visitors from interstate. We had a beautiful woodfired vegetarian pizza, and shared excellent salt & pepper calamari & tasty home made vegetarian spring rolls. The friendly hotel is full of character and a great spot to visit. Friday nights are always social, with a lot of...
